Silver is the biggest victim of the Lego Study ever. Lego did a study on boys and girls that showed boys generally like to become characters they like while girls want the characters they like to become them instead. Most of Silver's female fans (including Evan Stanley @spiritsonic) do this to him and that's why they're completely uninterested in the actual Silver from the games and think being a softboi is who he really is no matter how you explain his personality or backstory in the games to them.
Not all women and girls are like this but the ones that are are creatively destructive because they can't help but turn everything into a vanity project whether they realize it or not.
