It's small, but it's cozy.

The doorframe was more of a drama than it should have been, but in the end it all worked (and yes, more shelving above the door)

As in much of the house, the shelves also have picture rails. There is also lighting fitted under the shelves

Easy access under-bed storage!

With such a small space, a lot had to be built in place

Green walls, white ceiling and trim, pine shelving, anthracite door, blinds and radiator

We took up the floor, put down sound dampening tiles. Under the bed we left, the rest of the room we put back the original flooring, to be replaced when we do the whole apartment

I don't seem to have any before photos of the kid's bedroom, so here are some after shots, and then I will show you how we got here

We took the light fitting the we had put in the living room and moved it to our bedroom, and got this one to replace it. Clear when the light is on at night.

And in case you wanted to see all the mess that wasn't in the other video...the flooring will be done throughout the apartment at a later date.

All the shelving is built in, all handmade by Steve. You bet it's all straight!

The living room went from pale violet to deep blue (and we went there before Pantone did)
