What is the meaning of your username :3 ?

AHH great question! Glad you asked cuz nobody's ever asked me this actually... I'm surprised anybody is even curious about it o_o

Anyways, starting with "mousezse" which I always use... that's because I've decided that "Zse" is what my online name is (but you can call me "Ozoo" too... it's much rarer but that's my art signature!!)

Why Zse? That's the last syllable of my name arranged around!

Why mouse? The first syllable of my name sounds like that and I used to absolutely love hamsters, which is a rodent—the family mice are in! This "mouse" also serves as an extra syllable to match it with "malcode"

Why malcode? Basically I once saw that someone on Discord changed their name to "[insert word]_[their online name]" wherein the word was something that alliterated with their online name (as in, sharing the same starting letter). It sounded really good and I decided to apply the idea for myself! I chose malcode because I love coding, it sounds a little edgy (love 1x1x1x1!!) and I feel a little out of place sometimes... >_<

Doesn't it sound nice to say? Both words alliterate and have the same amount of syllables...

So yeah! That's it! That was... unexpectedly long. Man I'm such a yapper/rambler

Little art I made for my friend!

I drew this as part of an art trade with them... CD is one of their Phighting OCs (yes this isn't my oc). It all started when I thought it'd be interesting to draw each other's ocs in our style...

Gah the rendering is so ugly. I forgot where the light came from and forgot about the pespective so the arm shadow is ALL wrong please. I did realize this but I've already finished rendering and there's no way I'm gonna redraw everything cuz this thing already took me 15 hours pls over the span of two weeks. Pls why do I work so slowly

I don't know how to render grass, can someone teach me how to render grass?? ;-;

Just commissioned an awesome artist for a little photo of Cael and Ashen my belovedsss (This is NOT my art!)

Beautiful, isn't it?!! Finally, I have art that depicts Cael with the satchel he's carrying that I usually conveniently omit! That's how he wears the satchel for reference, I don't know how my artist understood such an undescribable contraption... It's wonderful!

The image itself is so nice!! I made an adjustment myself but it's not that big. Ashen is so cute here bruh, js look at him hugging Cael excitedly!! I'm surprised they also managed to work out this pose since Darkrai has a really stupid body shape which I hate because it makes it so hard to understand how its body could interact with something humanoid like Arma... or maybe my understanding of art is insanely flawed so yeah!! You can disregard that!

Credits belong to @k-emess !! They were very lovely to talk with and work INSANELY fast like genuinely. I can't comprehend it since my newest art took 15 hours and it's js a simple roblox character 🥹🥹

The QnA for my fic, LET'S GO!!

So glad I finally got this done. It's been a weak since the anniversary/Ashen's birthday took place. I'm so sorry - I was really swamped, heheh...

Yes I am aware of that weird white dot on Cael's sprites and I sincerely apologize for that!! I didn't notice while editing so I thought it was gone but turns out it still is... And I was just too lazy to fix it. Another thing I was too lazy to fix is the lack of soundtrack. Originally I planned to insert "Scheming Weasel" by Kevin MacLeod but I also forgot :(

This thing took so much time, man. Like, about eight hours on the editing itself, I believe? Also, the video is also longer than I wanted it to be...

I'm a little disappointed I got no questions... I guess the fanbase isn't existent yet but that's fine. I could only think of random questions there. Thanks to @wiselychosennamesstuff for reblogging my news post though!

The art is mine and I didn't really trace over references this time so I'm very proud for that. (Btw this took 5 hours 45 minutes smh)

Hi, dear readers!! If any of you even follow this blog lol. I'd be really surprised if I get any reactions but I'm here because a commenter told me Tumblr might be a good or even better place to post fic updates like this!

Dang, almost a year has passed since I posted my chapter huh? Time does fly, hah.

Anyway, I have a li'l announcement! As you may know, this fic's first anniversary is coming up (April 23), and it'll also be Ashen's birthday! To celebrate, I'll be making a QnA video with Ashen and Cael that I'll post here and (probably) YouTube. Yes, it'll have some art!! Hopefully I'll get it out on time :]

I'd honestly like to see more questions for Ashen since he's the birthday boy but I'm not forcing you! And in fact you can ask any of my fic's characters lol

Regardless, ask away! You can do it either through the AMA button or by commenting on this post—whichever is easier for you. You can ask as many questions as you want but please make it reasonable ^^

Oo my first post here.

Here's a drawing of Darkrai (Cael) I made for my fic. Took about... 11.5 hours—which still isn't nearly as bad as another recent artwork of mine that took 19 hours and 45 minutes... insane. How do I have this much time? This might be the secret to my perceived lack of time. ;-; (does this count as fanart if I'm the writer...?)

I'm pretty satisfied with the lighting (thanks to my friends for the tips!!). I just... did a rim light since I didn't know what else to do with the amount of lights there. Though, the lights, ironically, are the thing I'm specifically dissatisfied with. I could've done better there XP

For the torso (I drew the arms and billows ok...) I traced a free 3D model since I suck at drawing (sorry). It has a CC Attribution licensing so credits to nguyenlouis32 on Sketchfab for the model :p (link: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/darkrai-ed768b4946bf4dbb867ffaa45a3fba16)

Yes Cael is supposed to not have his satchel here... He's in his default/base form in these dreams.
