Racism is a pressing issue that needs to be addressed today, it causes fear and panic among countries, it breaks connections that have been cultivated for decades widening the gap. The method of fear, which is being used as a medium to increase the volume of racism, sowing seeds hatred and fear on discriminated and isolated races. It is also a form of power leverage which is used to persuade the masses to help gain more prestige and power which influences the growth of human society. But this issue has been running for quite sometime that society has grown to accept and adapt racism as apart of their daily lives.
Such an example would be the current administration of America, where in the fear on terrorism and immigrants was utilized as a leverage to further heighten the hold on power to control the masses, and secure the highest position in the American government. Another example would be the Philippines where in the spread of lies and rumors which targeted our Muslim brothers and sisters, which wounded the relation of local governing bodies. This is with the stereotype where in Muslims would always be related to bombings and terrorism, an this is a `common` thing in the Muslim community, bringing them in a bad light to the public. The problem lies with in our apathetic stand where in if it does not affect us in any way, shape or form we would be ignorant of that, dismissing it as another event which would someday be `resolved` by the government. All that can be done as of the moment would be to fully equip the youth, the future, with proper guidance in which they can somehow reshape the way racism is being handled and how to be open minded to what surrounds us, to raise the voice the only a little can utilize for those without it.
