It’s great that we idolize male celebrities (and men in general) for how well they love their women; we need to show women and girls what they’re worthy of. But can we also start doing the reverse, idolizing female celebrities (and women in general) for how well they love their men? Men and boys need to be shown what they’re worthy of too.
This post was made in response to all the women who idolize how well Thomas Rhett loves his wife and want a husband like him but never talk about what they would do for such a husband in return. It seems like they think being a woman means deserving to be spoiled. Of course women deserve to be with men who spoil them and treat them like queens but men deserve to be with women who spoil them and treat them like kings too. We need to start making examples of women who love their men well to show men and boys what they deserve.
We idolize grooms’ reactions to seeing their brides, can we also idolize brides’ reactions to seeing their grooms? Guys deserve to feel gorgeous and loved and special on their wedding day too.
Closest thing I’ve seen so far except that this is the groom’s mother’s reaction.
Here’s the Dutch queen crying at her wedding to the king.
i think men deserve flowers and cheek kisses too
Time for some positivity about men. Male joy is honestly a beautiful thing to watch. They pick something was weirdly specific and just go apeshit over how cool it is. I saw a guy at a wine store lose his shit laughing that they had a glass in the shape of a boot. He was grinning ear to ear and saying "it's real! Just like in the movie! My kids are gonna wanna steal this! They are gonna have to get their own!! This is awesome" and it was so cute. This guy was like 6ft 6' and had big crossfit energy and was just a kid again instantly. He was holding it like a kid holds THE toy he wants for Christmas and showing his wife, who was overjoyed to see him so happy. It was hella cute.
Dear men,
In case you haven't heard it today, you're kind, caring, handsome and smart. Don't ever let these misandrists ruin your day.
You don't need a flat stomach or a stomach that's without scars or stretch marks to go shirtless

Men deserve body positivity & neutrality. And I mean all men. Not a single man left out. Not a single fucking one. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their body, regardless of gender, regardless of marginalization.
It’s all okay! 💯
happy international men’s day! hope you guys are having a good day, please take care of yourselves!💙
Men with long hair tho... Handsome...
men!!! don’t pay attention to weird inhumane standards!! Instead focus on what actually makes you attractive: stretching with your hands behind your head so that just a lil bit of your stomach peeks out from under your shirt,,
Hey, you:
You’re a good man
i think tumblr’s idea of boys is utterly misguided at times.
boys are just as deserving of love as girls are. a woman fighting to break down a man’s walls is not “a waste of time”, a woman being concerned of a man’s mental health/feelings is not wrong. i think tumblr constantly spreads the idea that men are not worth women’s time and that their emotions are somehow less valid than women’s, and it’s just not true. at least not in all cases.
good young men who are struggling with mental illness need to know that they deserve happiness and that their feelings matter. if we constantly dismiss men’s emotions and act like they’re not worth our time, we’re just encouraging ideas of toxic masculinity.
I think lot of boy positive blogs make the mistake of adhering to the idea that masculinity is toxic, and that’s something that really cheeses me off. That’s why you see a ton of posts from me about anti toxic masculinity lol
The thing is, being masculine is beautiful. There are so many wonderful things about dudely men, besides the totally attractive pecs and beefy forearms. Decisiveness, assertiveness, self sufficiency, tenderness, protectiveness, all of these are masculine traits and all of these are wonderful. It really gets my goat that people could possibly think these traits are toxic.
It could be argued that a masculine man probably doesn’t need a boy positive blog, but I disagree. Even the beefiest, most testosterone packed man in the world needs encouragement now and again.
Masculine men aren’t broken, they aren’t defective women. They are wonderful and deserving of positive vibes too.

To /A L L/ of my male followers, be it trans or not, you are VALID, you are AMAZING, you have VALUE, and you are PERFECT. Do NOT let this toxic wasteland of a website EVER make you feel like you are pathetic for being male. YOU ARE IMPORTANT YOU ARE LOVED YOU ARE HUMAN YOU DESERVE RESPECT
boys deserve positivity boys are not inherently rapists, abusers, oppressors, etc. just because they are men. boys need body positivity. femme boys need positivity. masc boys need positivity. non-passing trans boys need positivity. male-id'ing gnc people need positivity. boys have problems that aren’t just erased by being men: the societal “you should’ve liked it” rape/sexual abuse mindset the idea that boys can’t be abused/raped/etc the idea that a masc boy is inherently toxic because he enjoys his masculinity the idea that ALL boys have privilege the idea that trans boys are “betraying females to join the oppressor class” the idea that boys can’t/would never have mental illnesses/eating disorders/body image issues/confidence issues/etc. because they are boys the idea that boys aren’t hated solely because they’re boys
i could go on but end of story is boys need positivity
