“N-nothing.” he said shaking his head like he was trying to get rid of something. “I just.. I’m distracted. Or… I mean. Not.. uh. I don’t know.” he said looking up at her. “I’m sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable.”
"No worries,” she quickly replies. “And uh, I hate to be this person, but it really looks like you want to talk about something. And you’re looking at a pro secret-keeper right now, so this will totally stay between us.”

He shakes out two pills and pushes the drawer shut. He furrows his brow slightly when the mirror shakes. “Hey, I think your thing is loose, better fix that before it cracks.”
“My what?” She looks over her shoulder and, seeing what he’s referring to, immediately turns to fully face him. “Oh, okay. Thanks. I’ll take care of that later.”

He nods and pulls open a drawer, then pulls out medication meant for pain. “Wow, I hope this is the worst of the shit ya put in.” He’s only joking slightly.
“Ha ha,” Malia says dryly, tossing herself onto her bed and decidedly ignoring the seriousness of his tone. "I think you need like, two of those."

He purses his lips for a moment before nodding shortly. “Yeah. Where’d it be?”
"Uh, try that,” she responds, pointing to a box. “It’s supposed to be for jewelry but I just put a lot of random crap in there.”

He saw Malia’s mouth moving before the words processed in his head. “What?” he said before quickly stumbling over his words. “Oh. Uh no. You look pretty. I mean. Great.. shit Nice. Nice you look. Fine.” he finally said shaking his head. He was a bumbling idiot, what in the world was he saying.
"Oh... Thank you, I guess,” she said with a small grin. She was never opposed to being called pretty. “What’s on your mind?”
jesse–teague:
Jesse lifts his hand to curl a piece of her hair around his finger. “A party?” he repeats, not overly fond of the idea. “Sure. If you want.”
Malia smiles. “You don’t have to want to, you know.”
Sebastian was sitting out on the grass reading a book. Well he wasn’t reading, he was staring off into space, mainly at the camper directly across from him. He didn’t realize how weird it was, even when he made eye contact with them, he was slightly out of it.
Malia peeked up from her magazine to find Sebastian still staring at her. Her brow furrowed, slightly uncomfortable, as he had been looking at her earlier, too. She owed the first time to her having just sat down, but now it was weird. “Um,” she piped up, “is there something wrong? Something on my face?”
jesse–teague:
Jesse makes a slight sound of surprise when he suddenly finds himself with a lap full of Malia, but he’s far from protesting. His hands find her hips as she touches his face, and he keeps them there as though worried she’s about to move away.
Malia continues to kiss Jesse for several drawn out moments, but eventually tears herself away. She stays close, resting her forehead against his. “We should throw a party as a couple,” she announces with a gasp. She shakes her head, laughing a bit at her spontaneous idea. “What do you think?”
Parker rifled through the medicine cabinet in the bathroom of his cabin, then huffed a bit. He opened the bathroom door and called out into the hall, “Do we have anythin’ stronger than ibuprofen?”
“Probably,” Malia responded quickly as she pushed her door open. “Or I might, at least. Want to take a look?”
He glances down at her quickly, and then looks away again when he feels his cheeks start to warm as well. There’s no point in trying to hide his grin the way he’s attempting to hide his blush. “There you go, then. As a couple.”
“Good to know,” she says quietly, leaning in to kiss him. She shifts so she straddling his lap, placing her hands on either side of his face as she deepens the kiss.
“A couple?” he repeats back to her, not expecting the question. He considers it for a couple seconds, although he already knows his answer. “Do you want that? Because I, uh–” he pauses and looks away from her to try and lessen the embarrassment of his own opinion. “I think I do.”
Malia's smile widens. "Really?" She feels heat rushing to her cheeks and grips his hand. "I think I do, too."
“Yeah?” His hand stills, but his smile doesn’t waver as he looks down at her. “That’s an ominous way of, uh, starting a sentence.”
"Is it?” She shrugs and then lifts herself up to kiss him on the cheek. “I was just wondering something. Are watching these shows together going to be something we do as... this thing or like, a couple?”
Jesse looks down at her, one of his hands already moving to play with the tips of her hair absently. His smile widens marginally at the word ‘together’. “Haven’t heard of either of those, but yeah. Let’s do it.”
“Really? Then we should just watch both.” She laughs, walking her fingers up his chest and pulling lightly at the camp necklace, rolling a bead between her fingers. “I have a question first, though.”
Malia finds a playlist she likes before walking over to the couch in the Aphrodite cabin. She smiles at Jesse, who is sitting there, and joins him, laying her head in his lap. “We should start watching a TV show together. Like Sense8 or Orange is the New Black or something.”
He stares up at the Nike cabin– his new home – and just takes it in for a few seconds. It feels nice to have something here that he can call his own. “Yeah?” His eyes wander over to her. “What is it?”
Malia sighs. “Um, cocaine?”
“Therapy would be nice,” he says with a shrug and considers biting his own tongue because Jacob Rivera hated therapy. His own focus in on Mal, who is still the most beautiful person that he has ever seen. “I’m glad you’re okay. I was worried about this place.”
Malia cracks a smile. “Thanks. I’m, glad you’re still here. Or back again, whatever.” When they arrive at his cabin, she sighs and turns to face Jacob. “It’s not therapy, but I might have some stuff to help. If you want it.”
