Time to get real

Okay, this has been building up inside of me for a long time and I've had enough. Here goes my rant: * I am NOT perfect, nor do I want to be * I have (and will continue to) raised my children the way I see fit. They are beautiful, respectful, and caring. I feel i have done a damn good job. * If the above upsets you because it is not how YOU raise or have raised your kids or how society sees fit, then leave my life and down watch. * I do not believe in God and to those who say "it bothers me that you dont believe in God", well it shouldn't. It doesn't bother me that you do. Let people believe what they want as long as they are not harming anyone. Enough said. * I cuss, a lot. I can make a fucking sailor blush and it doen't mean I'm uneducated. * I do not like the public school system in this country. I feel it focuses on things that are irrelevant and is a way to judge and catergorize children and that is fucking wrong. * I think cannabis can cure several things and hemp should be used much more. * I do not do drugs even though I am considered a hippie. I support peace, love and happiness * I feel less is more and I'm okay with that * AND I will not and do not take kindly to sexual passes by any sex ESPECIALLY those in relationships. I have way more respect for myself than that. I will name those who do make passes and contact their "other half" if it ever happens again. Want to get close to me? Use your mind and spirit. Looks me an nothing. How a person treats others means everything. If anything offends you, pisses you off or you do not agree.... Fucking leave. I am not here to please your closed minded views. I do not judge and do not appreciate being judged. It's shallow and weak for others to cast judgement. So, if you want to judge me, go ahead, but I will wipe you out of my life. I refuse that toxic negativity. On a bright note, I love you and you're beautiful and amazing.

Pros and cons

I find is somewhat comical how some people (namely other authors) will pick apart an author. From any punctuation errors to typos or common mistakes. Yet, others can read the same work and absolutely love it, disregarding and trivial errors. Why is this? Is there a possible hidden level of competition that makes authors bash on other authors? Personally, I think authors should stand together and show their support for one another. Then again, I still think everything should be rainbows and butterflies. Silly me.

Nonproductive

Today has been anything but productive. The weather is gloomy with an overcast and I can’t seem to find any motivation today. My mind is going in a million different directions, yet I can’t focus on a single task. Here is to hoping that tomorrow will be much better. One of these days I will find the sun.
