I think of it like a progression of ERB (like all songs of this album). Where Len has more of a focus on the pain and backlash from stranding out in his community, streetcat feels more like living in the consequences of being excluded and finding satisfaction and hope despite, and sometimes because of, the danger.
It also has an interesting contrast with Human with how it talks on identity feeling like fate (it fits me like the stars above) (to be exactly only me/the things that I was always meant to be) wheras Miki felt that breaking free from fate brought her identity. For both, though, the act of realizing themselves seems inevitable.
speaking more standalone, I think of it like. Wanting to live rather than survive. At least thats how I see it. In the first bits we get lines like this, where Nekomura is characterized as reckless, upset with her housecat life. She didn't value that peaceful life, so she runs from it.
I find it interesting that in the first part of the song 'glow' is used both to describe 'headlights' and her identity (her embrace). Nekomura's identity hits her like a truck. 'satisfaction adorns and thrives throughout her next eight lives' suggests that she needed to go through a 'death' of some sort to live a furfilling life.
It really reminds me of this albums sub-theme of breaking out of monotony. Static, spoken, and human are all trapped in it, erb and human break out, streetcat is freed. It's painful and dangerous, but its a life worth living.
By the time we get to the next part of the song, Nekomura is no longer seeking pain to dodge shame, but to find meaning, to be someone and embrace herself. I find it neat how her voice changes to be lighter and more emotional between these sections

It also calls back to the sort of split in identity found in this album after significant change
If I may be so bold as to connect Nekomura's eyepatch falling off as completing healing considering that it symbolized the starting healing in erb! YAY THEME PROGRESSION WOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I hope they can find satisfaction in a way that doesn't hurt someday :)
BONUS CONNECTION!! Rawdog and streetcat both use a desire for pain as a desire for connection, one with yourself and one with a partner. This parallels the way queen of venus and Human mirror eachother (finding humanity within yourself vs finding humanity within another)

I'm probably gonna get yelled at for saying this but sometimes something isn't a real problem in fandom, you just learned a Japanese word describing a general fandom practice and got scared and decided it meant "The Bad Ones" of that practice
Whenever you see someone being like "we don't mind when women enjoy or even create m/m content, we just hate fujoshis" you are being racist. If you mean "I hate the way some female fans treat gay men like fetish objects" then say that, and we can have a conversation based on that, but "fujoshi" is, I cannot stress this enough, just a word for any woman who likes M/M content, for better or worse. It may have started out as a reclaimed insult (by the way, the insult was based on "liking gay shit makes you perverted and sinful," not "please respect the humanity of gay men") but it does not make a distinction between The Good Ones and The Bad Ones. You just decided to No True Scotsman it and that the English word for that should describe The Good Ones and the Japanese word for it should describe The Bad Ones
Same goes for the people I saw just the other day whose discord server explicitly disallowed "Yaoi" but said that M/M content was allowed. What they meant was "M/M content is allowed as long as it isn't pornographic and fetishistic." What they actually said was "M/M content is allowed, but M/M content is strictly forbidden," and expected you to understand that the Japan-Adjacent term has porn/fetish connotations while the English-language term for THE SAME THING refers to the "normal, non-perverted" version.
It'd be like if you used the word "cartoons" to refer to all Family-Friendly animation, regardless of style or country of origin, whether it's Japanese or American or French or whatever, and used the term "anime" to refer to all animated pornography regardless of style or country of origin. There's plenty of animated pornography that isn't Japanese! There's plenty of anime that's not pornographic! But this is the sort of thing you do when you say shit like "obviously women can read stories about gay men, but NO FUJOSHIS"
