INTRO

Hi! I do art!! been drawing for 6 yrs, ish? Still a minor so don't be weird https://vgen.co/Amtesia for comms! I do illistrations, chibis, pixel illustrations and pixel animations, and comics (wowzers).

I like Vocaloid, alt culture/diy fashion, and my OCs! expect stuff abt that from me :D (currently on a flavor foley kick Im actually going insane)

POLICY

I LOVE CRITIQUE AS MUCH IF NOT MORE THAN I LOVE PRAISE. The annoying point about creating for me is that im pretty blind to myself so criticism helps me orient myself. I swear on my life Im being fr when I say I can take it.

That being said it should be constructive, even if its harsh. idm poor tone but if youre aimlessly insulting me there is very little to work with lol

Normal corrections like quote/spelling errors are also super appreciated I type too fast for my own good

I dont want to see nsfw ever (Artistic nudity not included)

I decided on Yi Xi for the DTIYS…well, because she’s the first one in the blog, lol. For 500 I’ll do DTIYS for static Miku and for 600 I’ll do Spoken For Teto, then maybe I’ll repeat the cycle for 700 and so on.

hi hello!!! i’m looking to also make a comic here on tumblr and i love your art, so i wanted to ask

what dimensions do you make your comic pages? or, alternatively, what do you recommend for dimensions for comic pages?

also, should every page be its own file?

Whatever the heck 175.00 width and 255.00 height 5mm bleed width 600 resolution means in Clip Studio Paint’s comic option (idek man)

Whatever it is probably isnt measured in pixels because my comic page canvas is bigger than my illustration canvases which are ~ the 1000-3000 pixel range

I may or may not have used the default it gave me bc Idk jack abt proper comic pg sizes. I might be doing it wrong honestly I think im supposed to give more of the side of the page trim room its not for print though so I can ignore that ✌️

abt them being seperate files, I guess it depends on your program? If youre suggesting that you use the same exact canvas file for each page, like turning the prev pages layers invisible to make a new page, I discourage that it seems like itd be tedious

Clip studio’s comic setting can let u group pages together like this and open them individually kind of like opening a new window (I can shove the other pages to the side dw its not obnoxious)

I usually separate the broader comic files via ‘chapter’/‘episode’/‘Pacing of how I upload them’ so I can sorta see how much work I have to do between uploads

Need to get better at naming+organizing the files tho

About what I reccomend. Honestly? do whatever u feel like if its a webcomic. You could just go on vibes. You could test different sizes and resolutions and see what you like, You could consider your preference in compositions and base it on that

If its for paper, or you might print it one day Consider what its gonna be printed on and ~just how may inches are gonna be taken off from the binding

MISC ASK THING (idk what to call this habit I do im very inconsistent about what it contains)

Custom sewed my aubrey plush a jean dress of questionable quality because her jean skirt (jirt?? Jeskirt??? what) was annoying me a little. Also sacrificed 5 pins for her flowers because I didnt want to sew them into her head

The sleeves are bad and fraying because I didnt feel like handsewing the sleeves I made on (And her jacket rocks too much for me to take it off ever anyway)
