Touka and Akira shouldve resolve their conflict with sex, just saying.
Knowing how are they both, I don't think it would be slow and peace sex. Just thinking XD

Inuyasha Chapter 122
Ups, they are at it
Saw some people in an anime group I'm in talking about the Inuyasha love triangle today. One thing I continue to not understand about peoples' perception of the Inuyasha and Kikyou relationship is the idea that the two of them 'falling for' the betrayal is somehow proof that they didn't trust each other or weren't right for each other. People act like Naraku preyed on their 'distrust of each other' when what he really preyed on was their shared internalized belief that no one could possibly love or understand them. That was both of their deepest insecurity, not distrust of each other specifically.
Let's look at that same logic applied to the relationship between Inuyasha and Kagome, or even Sango and Miroku. Kagome's major insecurity throughout the series is Inuyasha's lingering attachment to Kikyou. For Sango with Miroku it is often about his pervertedness or apparent unsuitability for a monogamous relationship. So what would have happened if a literal shapeshifter posed as Inuyasha and went and did something intimate with Kikyou, or the same with Miroku and some woman? You're telling me if Kagome or Sango saw their love interests doing the very thing they're fearful and insecure about, that their first thought would be 'that couldn't be him, it must be an unknown shapeshifting enemy I was previously unaware of'.
Spare me. It really reeks again of the need to invalidate Kikyou and her relationship with Inuyasha in an attempt to fluff up the relationship with Kagome. If Inuyasha and Kagome's relationship is contingent upon Kikyou being a bad, failed relationship partner I question the value of it on its own merits. Imagine dating someone whose spouse died and insisting they must have never had true feelings for that person, or the feelings must be lesser.

It's true. Kikyo is unfairly underrated, which makes no sense, considering that she and the Shikon Jewel are what drive the entire story.
Kikyo is the most powerful and complex female character, as well as the protagonist's and the main villain's great unattainable love.
Without Kikyo, there wouldn't even be a story to tell.
I love her even with her flaws, even her anime version is cool to me. I am not much of a fan of characters that all the time seem happy and are good but complex ones, especially if they are supposedly evil but later you can understand the reason that drives them.
Kikyo is important to the story, she isn't perfect, not always happy, she hides her complex feelings, she is arrogant and sees herself as really powerful, she loves Inuyasha so much that she died for him and didn't kill him even when she tough he killed her.... for me that gives her so much personality and makes her feel realist, but sadly a lot of these things alongside her rivalry with Kagome make her be given lots of hate because it looks like if a character isn't perfect it gives you a reason to despise them.
Well anyway no matter what we say or what we think, thing aren't gonna change her importance even if some people don't wanna see it.
I am a Kikyo fan and yet i can see why people love Kagome, her love for Inuyasha and her importance for the story. I wish we had more interactions between them, hell they have even more tension than inukik ones xD give me the drama.
Thanks for the ask anon!
