Fox Fight

I’ve been a fan of @raph-the-muscle Chatwing chat for a long time. Lurked for years now, pretty much since I opened a Tumblr account. So when I read this fight scene between Redd((formally Todd, who is also one of my favorite tmnt oc’s)) and Alopex. I had to see it visually. Queue me taking on one of the most difficult art projects I have ever done. 

I’ll be honest, I scrapped so many sketches and wanted to give up so many times. I wanted to smash my tablet into a rock, a few times. Behind the art scene I had so much support and I wasn’t appreciating it all. To be honest, my attitude sucked. That was until I came across this video Artist: Demoralization by Draw with Jazza. It changed my entire attitude. I took a step back and then it blossomed from there. I did have to have help with the blood affects. ((the artist who added the blood and injuries has asked to not be credited.))

By the end, I used Krita, MS Paint, and Coral Paint Shop pro. Saved the fight scene to re-read it over and over again. Looked at many, many different pictures of foxes and fight scene poses. 

So here it is, under the cut.

I tried! My hands hurt..couldn’t do anymore..I adore Alopex. maybe ‘cause fox but still. Was nervous to draw her, but, I think I did all right for a first attempt. Sorry no shading, light, shadowing...my hands wouldn’t allow it..:D

Ok, I know this isn’t tmnt related, but, in sense it is? This is what I did to relieve the anxiety of waiting for “Requiem” to upload to iTunes..Took four hours..give or take and lemme tell ya...my hands still hurt! Why I’m not allowed to arts for a few days....I know @pie-thinkings and @faithfulwhispers are watching me...Also @thalionfae I know you’ll appreciate the fox arts!

Practicing with different turtles and facial expressions.. All I can see are mistakessssss... Why do Leo and Donnie not have their weapon's straps you ask...*cough* lazy.. :D
