Kaito Star Awakening private messages - 4/?

Kaito says that he was up the whole night, so he’s gonna take a nap, and you ask him if he was up the whole night. He calls you an idiot, and says that he was up working the whole night because he had to submit a song later (waow Kaito being hardworking what a sigh)

Kaito asks you what you think of the white snake (Iori’s role in the Ayakashi omnibus), and you mention that you’re not good with snakes (au contraire, I think Iori and Sousei had the best roles for this set, followed closely by Kyouya). And he says that he’s not good with snakes too, because they’re the mortal enemy of hamsters are you a hamster Kaito or is Hinata a hamster OR ARE BOTH OF YOU HAMSTERS :O

Kaito says he saw Kyoya standing in the corridor just now, but you tell him that Kyoya has already gone home… And he says it’s not the case, and that he definitely saw him in the corridor wearing the snow maiden (idk what to call it; it’s supposed to be a snow maiden, but Kyoya is wearing a guy’s version of it) costume in the unlit corridor, and when Kaito saw him he exclaimed “Don’t scare me like that” and Kyoya walked off.

Then he second guesses himself and asks you if you’re joking that Kyoya went home, and that he’s still in the building.

Kaito Star Awakening private messages - 3/?

Kaito asks you if you know why Kaito called him out, and you tell him that it’s probably about the pudding (Kaito have you not learned your lesson from the Zipangu drama). And Kaito goes all “oh, that’s his?”, and he says that there wasn’t any name written on the pudding, so he can’t be faulted for eating it... then he realizes that Kyoya always writes his name at the bottom of the pudding, and runs off to buy a new one to appease his anger (lol)

Kaito wants an afternoon nap, and he asks you if you know any quiet place where he can take one. And you offer. Your lap. Then he asks you if you’re taking that back (of course I can’t), and that he’s going over to where you are now. And he says not to mention this to anyone else, and he’ll never forgive you even if you mention it as a joke (he’s such a girl lol)

Kaito asks you if you’ve seen Subaru (he calls him “Muscle Idiot” here, which is 4 words and many more syllables in Japanese than “Subaru”, which is one word and 3 syllables), and you retort with “Isn’t “Subaru” made of fewer words?” (i.e. easier to type). Then he says that he didn’t notice, because when he types “ta” (first syllable of tairyoku baka = muscle idiot = Subaru), predictive text turns up the whole phrase for him lol.

Hinata Star Awakening private messages - 2/?

Hinata says that he’ll be making his special omurice for the performance, and urges you to make it too~ And you mention that you love spicy omurice, and he says that the two of you are really made to match, and that it must be fate that the two of you have met ;_; come Hinata let onee san hug you how can you be so cute it should be illegal for you to look so innocent and be such a smooth talker ;_;

Hinata asks you if you have seen his notes on old text (like Old Japanese; kinda like actors in Shakespearen plays having to speak in Elizabethan English). You say that you’ve seen Kaito holding it, and Hinata gets really annoyed, cause Kaito’s gonna start doodling everywhere on it and he’s gonna go grab it back asap damn you Kaito

Hinata says he saw an old man walking a big doge at the park and he felt nostalgic seeing it. You ask if the dog was as big as Hinata (I’m sorry Hinata), and he says that although it was a big doge he was definitely bigger DX and he chides you for bullying him, then he says that he’s gonna get bigger so you’ll stop saying stuff like that (<- this part might not be accurate, I apologise if there are mistakes ><)

Subaru Star Awakening private messages - Part 3/?

Kaito praised Subaru during today’s singing lesson, and you go all “Kaito praised Subaru? Kaito...? Subaru...? Praise...?” (oh the shock and horror!!!) And Subaru being the happy puppy he is, told Kaito to say it again, cos it was a really important thing and it was big news!!! It won’t even be strange if it made headlines! “Shindou Kaito Praised Jougasaki Subaru’s Singing! Strange Things Happen throughout the Country!” Then Kaito told him “you’re definitely thinking of something weird now”... 

Subaru mentions that his tuba seems smaller than it was yesterday, and you affirmed his suspicions. And he’s all, “I see, indeed you know things things that I don’t!” and he wonders if the other instruments shrank as well, and he says he would go and check with Iori if his shrank too (I’m sorry Subaru please forgive me watching you make a fool of your self is jut far too entertaining)

Subaru says that he got wet when practicing for the pool cleaning scene, and you mention that you got soaked while carrying a bucket too, and Subaru panics and freaks out :O He asks if you have any towels with you, and that he and Iori have some with them, and he’ll come and bring it to where you are, and he’ll run to your side! (precious sunshine child, I’m so sorry I enjoy watching these antics of yours so much ;_;)

Hahaha, it’s fine. I don’t know how heavy the machine is, but if a lady like you could move it there’s no way Kaito can’t (T/N: you have no idea how wrong you are)

Iori is crazy good at maimai x_x he played it for a couple of hours, and at the end of his convo he’ll declare that he’ll aim for SSS rank next x_x (for those who don’t play maimai, to get SSS rank you need an accuracy of more than 100%. That’s right, you need to be more accurate than the machine itself) Meanwhile pathetic me is still struggling to S rank my songs ;_;

Sousei Star Awakening private messages - 5/?

Ah it appears that I am a week late. My apologies.

A small history lesson first for context: The ~Dream~ musical is based on Genji Monogatari, which is a story written long ago by this lady whose name is Murasaki Shikibu. Surprise surprise, one of the characters whom Genji (main character? I guess) marries in the story is called Murasaki </end history lesson>

Sousei mentions that the original Genji Monogatari is a really long story (I think it has like 60 chapters or something), and he tells you what you’d do if you suddenly declare that you’d write a script as long as it. Then you ask him for a year to write it, and he mentions that the original took around 3-4 years to write, and comments that you must have a very fast writing, and that you may be a modern Murasaki Shikibu (；ﾟДﾟ)

The next one is too long to squeeze into one screenshot x_x

Sousei had a meeting with Haibane (did I get his name right) from Genesis about the upcoming performance, and suddenly! You become very interested in Haibane’s glasses!!! And Sousei goes “Eh!? You too!?” and launches into a tirade about the discussion they had at the end of the meeting about glasses (sasuga Sousei), and how they have different pairs for different uses and when they wear different pairs etc. (apparently both of them own a pair each of R●bans and ●om Fords lol) Then he catches himself and apologizes for his lack of control where glasses are concerned. And he came to know Haibane better because of this illuminating conversation about glasses. Lol.

Yumeiro Company Ningyoyaki

Idk if anyone has translated this yet but I’ll just leave this here (if anyone else has done this already please tell me and I’ll take this down m(_ _)m)

There’s a certain curious item given out during event period quite long ago, which is this Yumeiro Company Ningyoyaki.

Based on their convos, it turns out they’re all customised to each member lol.

- Hinata’s is the smallest (lol) and he’s not pleased

- Jin’s is the.... blackest?

- ^ because Kyoya pan fried Jin’s one after baking 

- Flavours:

Kyoya = Strawberry (Sousei will have an existential crisis about eating it because he doesn’t want to eat Kyoya first and leave 6 “people” in the company box; his brilliant solution is to try eating everything together)

Iori = Matcha

Sousei = Coffee

Hinata = Habanero (May your soul rest in peace Kaito; Madoka will force one onto him in his convo)

Kaito = Pudding

Jin = Chocolate 

Subaru = Banana (He called his own one weird, and didn’t realise he ate his own orz)

Subaru Star Awakening private messages - Part 2/?

Subaru asks you what an omnibus is... I said it’s the friend of omurice... orz I’m so sorry Subarun I didn’t expect you to take it so seriously I should face the wall of shame and reflect on my life decisions orz

He goes to tell Iori about what it means, then Iori and Kaito (who was next to him) started laughing at him ;_; Then he says he didn’t study enough for the performance this time and that Iori explained it to him and he’ll be sure to remember it, then he apologises and says he’ll study harder ;___; I’m so sorry Subarun I shouldn’t have made fun of you like that I’m a bad bad person for doing this to a sunshine boy like you please forgive me I’m a bad person I don’t deserve to breathe the same air as you ;______;

Subaru asks you what you think of his costume, and the choices are: 1) it’s cool, 2) it looks easy to move around in, and 3) it exposes a lot of skin :))))

After consulting with a friend, I decided to tell Subaru that his costume is very revealing, and he says that his physique is something he absolutely won’t lose to anyone else to, and he’ll continue to work hard from now one and that he’s happy to get such a costume that shows off his body (what an innocent answer ;_; can you imagine if you asked Jin that question he’ll probably sleaze his way through)

Subaru mentions that today’s practice was especially hard and tiring, and if you offer to buy him something he’ll be like the most grateful puppy to ever live and he’ll thank you before you even go and he requests for yakisoba bread, and he says that the one from the convenience store is more than enough why are you so considerate I’d gladly get it from the most expensive bakery around here for you

Then that dipshit Kaito makes Subaru go buy get a cream bun for him from the bakery near the station, so he offers to come with you to buy the bread ;_; how can such a precious innocent helpful pure person exist ;_;

Sousei and towels

Remember that sports towel in the Rakuya? This is what happens if you give it to Sousei.

He’ll thank you, and he says that he’ll be sure to make good use of it.

... then he mentions that the towels in the pantry are getting old...

...And if you’d like to go buy a few new ones with him (and I didn’t manage to catch the last screen shot, but he says that you can choose the design lol)

Kaito Star Awakening private messages - 2/?

Kaito asks you who’s the strongest god in Jipangu, and if you say it’s you, the scriptwriter (of course it’s you the great almighty playwright with the entire castmembers’ fates in your hand fufufu) he will SHOW CONCERN FOR YOU. He’ll humour you (and maybe pacify you?):

Are you tired? Ok I got it, you’re the strongest, now hurry up and go home.

KAITO SHOWING CONCERN? THE WORLD IS GOING TO ENDDDD

Kaito says that it’s his bithday (hint: it’s not). If you catch him and tell him he’s just saying that cos he wants cake, he’ll be a smug little shit and go all “indeed you know me well”, and he’ll promptly tell you to get a whole cake for him, and to get a three layered cake for his birthday (he’s gonna get diabetes at this rate)

An alternative to the above; if you tell him something like “I see”, he’ll say that he’s looking forward to his birthday cake, and that today he feels like eating chocolate cake, and he wants shortcake tomorrow (fuck you Kaito)

Kaito asks you if you know about the petshop nearby, and if you ask him it’s because he wants to get a pet, he’ll tell you it’s because...  he wants to get a hamster. Called Hinata. Then he’ll take really good care of it at home. Like reaaallly good care. Then he can make Hinata the sunshine sunflower jealous. (actually that sounds like a really great plan lol)
