IFP & Clint Norwood
Woooooooooookay. This news is a tad bit late, but whatevs. I'm sure we'll all be fine. Anyways, recently we made a new movie, Clint Norwood. Maybe you've seen it (if you haven't, stop reading and click that damn link. From here on out, nothing will make any sense. Bughity bughity boo, phhhraagg sak, plargth barph. See, no sense was made). Go on.
A few weeks ago, IFP Phoenix had a 48-hour film challenge, so like in our nature, we entered our movie. We got to the theater just in time to sit around and do nothing for 30 minutes. The only reason we stopped doing nothing was because the mini-burritos came. Oh yeah, and the movies started to play.
We were given an award called "Best Use of Genre", which basically means our mockumentary looked like a mockumentary. As you can see, we are all so pleased. I thought we were pretending to sit down for the picture. I must be the only one who does that too.
Peter EFFING Smyer is all that is man for getting the "Best Actor" award for the night. He killed it so hard. Kudos, sir. In addition to all the fun awards, we were also given a pan of mini-burritos, 74 to be exact. We only ate 10. Overall, the night was super fun (those burritos were bomb, okay) and we'll be making more movies as soon as we can. Stay in touch!
