manatees are SO cute!!! i always thought they were, tbh!! i don't know why people think they're not :'^( once in kindergarten my teacher gave us some kind of word problem or something about the zoo or sea world and she said something vaguely like "manatees are ugly to me, and most people" and i got so offended i had tears welling up in my eyes because quote "HOW COULD THEY DEFEND THEMSELVES.. THEY CANT TALK..." unquote.

Thank you for standing up for manatees! They are gentle and kind and sweet and cute!!! I love manatees so much this story warms my heart :)

Just to let you know, a manatee tried to steal my canoe once... It was awesome. And terrifying. His name was Paul.
