Every woman has been hurt and mistreated by a man. Internalize these feelings to create distance between you and the male sex. The more you think of men negatively, the more you’ll mentally separate from any identification as male. You’re attracted to them, you can’t help that, and there are so many things about them to love, but you have to be so careful with them. They want what you can give them, and they’ll lie and break your heart to get it if they need to. You can never fully trust them because they can hurt you. They’re just so… alien. Why do they act the way they do? Why can’t they just be normal like girls are?
Don’t just think it, feel it. Even if it means getting your heart broken to really have something to anchor these feelings to. This is only just words until it happens to you. You need it to happen, you need to get your life torn apart by men acting like pigs so that you can learn the proper distrust for them. Hold onto that heartbreak, that’s what men can do to you.
And it’s not just that they’re dangerous to your feelings.. they’re physically dangerous. They’re bigger, stronger, and if they want to, they can hurt you. And they do. Men hurt women physically all the time. You’ve always got to remember that when you’re around a man, you could be in physical danger the moment he decides to put you in physical danger. And you’re basically helpless to do anything about it. There’s always that underlying truth in the back of your mind when you’re dealing with them, on some subconscious level.
You’re not one of them, you could never be. They’re not like you, they’re just completely different. Maybe one day you’ll find that man you can let your guard down with and give your heart to fully. But until then, you’ve got to be so careful with them. You can’t fully trust them. They’re not exactly “the enemy,” that’s too dramatic a way to put it. But they’re playing for the opposite team.
If you find yourself viewing men as more familiar or normal than women, catch yourself. If you observe an interaction between a man and a woman and you view the situation from his perspective rather than hers, even for a moment, it makes you feel so uncomfortable you get almost physically ill. Women make sense, they see things how you see them. Being around women is your comfort zone, your default. Men are weird, foreign, dangerous. Being around them is scary but sometimes exciting.
Women are “us.” Men are The Other. Think it, feel it, live it until it becomes instinct, as automatic as breathing.
