The invisible currents inside, carrying me away, to some other place, here, or there. Maybe Persia or Greece, Egypt or farther back than that
This world, this universe. Stretched across my dreams and memory, Serendipity or something else. I’m glad to be here today under this night sky so utterly amazing, leaving me breathless and in awe
The lights of other worlds, in my periphery, I long eternally
A majestic forest nymph, ephemeral amidst the cottonwood and stagnant water, pray for me and this abandoned earth
The Maya of future and past, rightfully commanded by ancient gods, uncovered in the vast wilderness of the earth and our hearts
Emptiness a fallacy, myriads of stars quicken my gentle heart, splendor undiscovered yet, I can’t wait for another day
Contrasting the evening moon that night, you were so anciently beautiful
So warm and lovely, so cold like snow, these days burnt frozen into my soul
Soundlessly. You arrived today, just like any other day, but I finally noticed something
Everything ancient and ever after, clouds spill forth within me,soft sweet scents to remind me, of other times, other worlds
Softly you unfold, by the riverside, you might appear or might not, and that’s okay
Holding you close, like a fragmented dream, this night will not go on forever
A train ride, and you’re writing poetry next to me, yet we’ll never meet
I see no color, only your heart
In all of my hollows, I still remain full, through it all
We never even look around, into the rooms we spend the most time in..
I was a child, I came home from the woods, all muddy and messy, yet that never mattered
