Really? Ugh, I’m excited. But not excited. I don’t want it to end just yet. But I do need answers. It’ll be bittersweet. No, no…no one wants prequels. Star Wars tried to do prequels and it ruined everything. 

I’m sure you’ll get the answers you need. Some prequels can be good but Star Wars should have just done everything in order originally if they were gonna pull all this.

Yes! Love that series. Can’t wait for the next book to come out. They last one ended on such a cliffhanger. Also, other than Kamila, I don’t think I’ve met another girl in this town that knows about E. L. Walker. Yes, exactly. All this Fantastic Beast and the Cursed Child thing…it’s too much. 

I heard through the grapevine that it’s coming soon and she’s working on a completely new series since the next book is the last. Oh yeah, but I am kind of in the writing world so I know of a lot of authors. Well to be fair, Fantastic Beasts is suppose to be like way before Harry Potter came about, I thought it was interesting since they did talk about the fantastic beast book in the series but the cursed child thing wasn’t my cup of tea.

At the moment, yes. It’s an alternating list between those three. Pretty much the last one I’ve read is the favorite. Pass on Ms. Rowling. As a child, loved the Harry Potter books but as an adult, I’m cooling on them. I don’t really care for how she keeps coming out with all this additional information either.  

Oh the series about the space explorer that was lost in deep space with no way back and had to find a new civilization on a new planet? Growing up I loved the Harry Potter books, I would kind of escape when I read them, I think if anything it opened up my creativity to where I wanted to try to go into writing but her new stuff, as much as I love her. I don’t really care for. You did seven books in the series, you ended it. Keep it that way.

I don’t. I’m sure you’ll put up a good fight but in the end, I will crush you. I have a few favorite authors though at the moment the top person is E. L. Walker. Runner ups are the obvious J. R. R. Tolkien and George R. R. Martin. 

We’ll see, honey. Your top favorite is E. L Walker, huh? I know them and I’m familiar with their work. I do like J. R. R Tolkien and George as well, always enjoy reading their stuff. Of course can’t forget the childhood stuff, J. K. Rowling.

You would not own any part of my body at either game. But writer? That’s pretty cool. Didn’t know that about you. New facts. 

I think I would. Yeah, figured I’d give you new information about me. You’re welcome to come see some of my works. Maybe I’ll drag out the trivial pursuit.

I don’t think you’re understand what you’re getting into. I win that game every time. Longest game I’ve ever played was thirty minutes. So, you’re going down. I also like Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, uh…if I feel risky…Risk. Kidding, of course. If I do get risky, I like Sorry. 

Hmm, I don’t know, you may have met your match. Ugh, love Trivial Pursuit. Last time I played that I owned everybody’s ass. I’d own your ass in Trivial Pursuit and scrabble, but I have an advantage with scrabble since I’m a writer.

I really enjoy monopoly but people don’t like playing with me. I take it too seriously. Oh, ok…cool. Awesome. Got it. 

I get serious with Monopoly and my money so I imagine that would be a fun time if you’re as serious as I am. Any other games?

Alright, cool. Cool, cool, cool. I prefer board games over video games. Just so you know. Well, good. Mission accomplished. Quick question, you remember my name, right? I only ask because one of my client can never remember so she calls me handsome a lot too. If not, that’s ok. It happens. 

Oh I love board games. Which ones do you like? Of course I remember your name Lucas. I just like calling you handsome.

Oh, no…no, that’s not necessary. Nope. It’s what I magazine in a book about…dating. Which I wasn’t reading for me. It was the only magazine my dentist office had for a really long time. And what I said before was an attempt at humor…

It’ll be fun! Oh those kind of articles are usually wrong. For situations like that, totally depends on the connection with the person, but the quizzes are sometimes fun. It was? Well it did make me chuckle a bit so you succeeded at humor, handsome.

I was never invited to a sleepover as a child so my assumption of sleepovers are generally the latter. The naughty sleepovers shouldn’t happen until you’ve been on at least ten dates. Generally sleeping. Some exceptions apply. 

You were never invited to a sleepover? Well we should fix that, I’m going to throw a sleepover, the fun non-naughty kind. Ten dates, huh? Is that your rule that you follow or a trend you’ve noticed with your past experiences?

There’s the naughty sleepovers, then the fun sleepovers with food, movies, and video games. I imagine you’re leaning towards the fun one.

What? No…no, no, no. That’s not what I meant. I’m not inviting you to a sleepover. That would be weird, right? Grown man and woman having a sleepover? 

Well it depends really. Grown men and women have sleepovers all the time, just depends on the type of sleepover.

Good to know. I guess this means you can come sleepover at my apartment now. Yea, you’re not wrong there. 

So you want me to sleepover at your apartment now, huh?

Nope but I feel like that should be a concern now. Oh, Mira’s? Yea, she’s obsessed with that place. They are pretty amazing though. The waitress Faye is pretty awesome too.

Well I’m not that much of a perv so you’re safe. I love Mira’s and I feel like everyone there is pretty awesome.

Just making sure she didn’t invite you into my apartment. Not that…I mean, like…without me knowing. Because that would be weird, you know? Like…if you were there and I didn’t know? 

Afraid I’d snoop in your underwear drawer, handsome? And it’s fine, we mostly either hang out at the diner, my place, or she suggests places to go in town with her.
