Sometimes I feel like, for Regina, she’s scrambling for someone or something to tell her she has a right to exist. Or to prove it to herself that she can exist and have that right because no one’s ever told her that (except Daniel). That’s part of what I see in her face when she’s in pain.

I always thought Regina was so vulnerable in the scene. The look on her face says it plainly, but so does one very important fact - she doesn’t use magic. She could brush Charming away from that door as easily as a bug, but she doesn’t. Part if it is because of her promise to Henry, but I think a part of it is also her desperation. She wants Charming to see how much this means to her, how important her Daniel is. She’s so terrified too, terrified of hurting him or of him being a monster or of losing him again or just never knowing if it was really him or not. It’s one of the few times we see her really raw and effectively powerless against her own emotions. The moment Charming sees that look on her face, he understands, and lets her in. It’s one of my favorite parts of the show.

I think you’re absolutely on point about her being powerless against her own emotions. I almost feel like she travelled back to the day Cora ripped out Daniel’s heart and relived it. As if she’s not Regina who’s been the Evil Queen and mayor for all these years, but just that girl in the stables, feeing powerless and so desperate that it all comes out physically. It comes out like emotions do when they explode out because they can’t be controlled or held back.

Also, she says to David: “Now listen to me, please.” What’s interesting is that in an Apple Red as Blood in S1, when she gave Snow the apple, she said something similar. “She ripped his heart out. Because of you! Because you couldn’t listen to me!” Regina even sounds like she’s pleading with Snow, begging for understanding and validation. So I find it interesting that in both instances, of her few words, those are the ones she spoke. In neither instance were the exchanges long, but both times one of her primary desires was for someone to listen to her.

The names are Aubree Skye, Michaelangelo Roy, Tristan Michael, Kay Lynn, Roy Angel, Estalayah Demetria, Philip drew, Atheenna Jessica, Lil'Adrii ( liianna adriana), and Cheyenne-Danielle Adriana. Our total add up to the family "54". Our numbers 32. Our date is 2_20_14. Our wedding date is 2_20_15. Our birthday's October 9th and December 8th. We are close in range. Same age. Our plans are in progress. 17 dogs, 2 wolves, 2 horses and a tiger. We a bit exotic.
