I know I don't post much but currently Oshi no Ko and Tomodachi Game are the only manga I havr been actively reading for the past few years and now OSHI NO KO IS ENDING IN 4 CHAPTERS!! So I just wanted to write down some of my headcanons regarding how I expect the ending to go because SPOILER ALERT
It's not going pretty for Aqua right now, seeing that he has stabbed himself and ultimately murdered a serial killer. I still don't get why he did that but seeing as if we will get 4 more chapters, my headcanons mught actually make sense:
Aqua survives thanks to crow girl putting her meddling fingers, but not completely. I have a feeling that people that were not at the concert will somehow find out about this. My biggest speculation: Akane. She may get in contact with the director to try nd find out where he is and that's when Tsukuyomi helps them find Aqua
Now, I do think he will be in a comatose state. During it, he will see Ai - as his doctor self - and basically talk about how he regrets not being able to save her since he is an "adult". However, Ai will rebuttle that statement and tell him that he is no longer that same doctor that was supposed to deliver her babies. He is her son and she has cherished the four years they've spent together, along with Ruby
As all of that is happening, he may be in a hospital by now, while Ruby and... Well, the whole world, kind of knows what happened. This is when Ruby goes crazy enough to put on meds - yes, I do think she will go THAT crazy, she is losing him twice now - and ultimately be sent home with Miyako.
Now, my gut feeling is telling me that, over the next few days (weeks?) Ruby may think about confessing their past lives to their mother and maybe even to Akane, Kana or Himekawa even. Ultimately, I do think Miyako will get a grasp of Aqua's mental state better now that she knows their regrets as reincarnated souls (moreso Aqua as an "adult" than Ruby as a "child")
As to why Himekawa, I believe that he will say something to Ruby about their relationship since he may feel the need to step up as the "big older brother" to Ruby... I just hope she won’t think he looks like sensei, but that's a stretch
When Aqua wakes up he will lose his "doctor" self. Not the memories, but rather his guilt, shame, revenge etc
Eventually, they're all crying and hugging it out and stuff like that
So, IF Ruby tells them their secret to Miyako, I feel like Miyako might be more prone to explaining to Awua if he truly wants to pursue being a doctor over an actor. She sees how he lights up when acting and she doesn't want him to leave that completely for a career from his past life. Yes, I do know he said that was his dream, but in order for his character to develop very well, I do think he needs to do what makes him happy.
Kana and him are dating. And they do it. Maybe? Like, knowing both the author and the artist, I don't think it's impossible. However, if it does get to that point, I do feel it will be more... Sorrowful than cutecy and romantic. Remember, she has told him to promise not to talk about killing himself. And yet, he tried to do just that!
