hi, i just wanted to write something real quick since we are down to the last few hours before luigi's appearance. i've been reflecting on when we last saw him in february, the meltdowns we saw from some, and how much has changed since then—not just for me, but for the community overall.

i know there are a lot of nerves and worries running rampant right now. no matter what he looks like or what is said, i really just want to remind everyone to not lose the plot! if you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, shocked, scared, or even just upset, please don't try to carry that alone. reach out, talk to someone, or most of all take a breather if you need to. we should prioritize being here for each other and luigi, instead of spreading hate and panic.

it's going to be very easy to feel sad when we see him, especially knowing the conditions he's experiencing. but we shouldn't let that consume us or spill over in a way that ignites panic for others, because that will quickly snowball into a chain reaction. instead, we should all focus on kindness, patience, and lending a listening ear to anyone who may need it.

this isn't easy to watch, and it definitely isn't easy for luigi to go through. that's why it's so important that we keep attention on supporting him, no matter if that is advocating for his right to a fair trial, jury nullification, or donating to his legal fund if we're able to.

i say all of this with respect and care for everyone here. <3

“Shane Daley, age 40, of Galway, New York, was charged with cyberstalking and arrested today for sending harassing and threatening voicemail messages to a family member of murdered UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

A criminal complaint alleges that between December 4 and 7, 2024, beginning just hours after Thompson’s murder in midtown Manhattan, Daley placed multiple calls to a work phone line used by a member of Thompson’s family. In a series of voicemail messages, Daley used threatening and harassing language that focused on, among other things, Thompson’s killing, expressed satisfaction over the fact and manner of his death, and stated that the victim and Thompson’s children deserved to meet the same violent end.

The charge filed against Daley carries a maximum term of 5 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and a term of supervised release of up to 3 years.”
