"You like going to Festivals don't you?"

I'm going to pass on all my knowledge and wisdom regarding how to survive at a festival! I've been camping at festivals since 2001, sometimes up to seven in a year, battling rain, sun, mud, wind, rain, and more mud. I've made meals fit for a King whilst using a Hexi Stove, managed to keep my cider cool, and have a great nights sleep. Hopefully, I can offer you any advice and tips. Wherever you're a newbie to festivals or a pro. Any questions, please ask. If I'm wrong about something, please correct me.

From Essential magazine. I own the Primark mac in leopard print. TIP: Don't wash them, removes the waterproof layer. Buy a spray layer for waterproofing clothes/tents in Aldi or most camp shops.

Packing tip:

It's festival season! When packing your clothes, roll them (like a pastry) and use elastic bands to tie up. When you're unpacking or just looking for a T-shirt you won't have to re fold everything you pulled out! Remember to put your clothes into a plastic bag when you put them in your backpack, if it rains on route to the campsite your clothes will remain dry.

How to volunteer at a music festival

Volunteering at a music, film or art festival can mean free tickets, discounts or 'crew' perks, as well as gaining an insight into how major events are put together

I need a Tent!

Time to get shopping.  I have Hammerfest coming up (accommodation is chalets), Download Festival, Alt-Fest and hopefully Sonisphere.

Need a good sturdy tent that will last a few years like my last one :-)
