at this point i am probably the literal scum of the invader zim fandom but hear me out

what if when zim and dib were fighting, zim managed to pin dib and just as he’s about to deliver this hard blow to dib’s face he just hears this th-thump th-thump and he kinda pauses for a bit before rubbing his antennae all up over dibs chest. then dib is all “zim what are you doing” and zim is like “quiet human, i’m listening” and then dib’s heartbeat just keeps getting faster and faster and zim becomes really concerned and starts yelling and shaking dib cause he thinks dib is going to explode

Anywho,

The dib files! Notes on dib. I made these just for funsies. I'm not planning on making a full blown story for him or anything, but people seem to like my iteration of Older Dib, so I took that as an opportunity to indulge and delve into him more with these drawings. Ironically, I started this with the intention to solidify the more subtle parts of his design, and since I started this over a month ago, I feel like the way I draw him has changed. OH WELL 😭

(Full disclosure: I basically stole the "zim marks" in the third page from mushy-madness. I saw a drawing of theirs and said "well that HAS to be the case, ain't no any other way")
