(translation under the cut)
(glitch text ignore)
Please tell us about the Spicy Cuisine Research Society's new recipes.
There's quite a bit, but the most popular one among the troupe is their "Spicy Cheese Furikake". It's a Western style furikake made out of a blend of specialty spices, powdered cheese, salt & pepper, garlic, and a crushed nut of choice. It can be used to raise the spiciness of rice, bread, salads, and soups according to personal taste.
What kind of work does Mizuno Kaya do on a daily basis?
He's still a college student, but he helps out with managing some of MIZUNO Enterprise's departments. He also works as it's psuedo-scout when looking for promising theater companies and actors to support.
"Rose Bath Set: Arisugawa Homare's Complete Review!" Has anyone in the dorm tried out the bath set? Please tell us their reactions.*
*assuming this is a reference to his veludo bath SR backstage
The sample that came with the magazine wasn't enough for the dorm's bath, so it couldn't be experienced in its full effect. Homare tried again later, but that time he added too much and the smell was way too strong. Most of the members rushed over to a bathhouse instead.
Please tell us how MANKAI handles fights over the TV remote.
Actually, there's rarely ever a conflict. Occasionally Kumon's baseball game will air at the same time as Citron's Manzai show, or Misumi's animal show will conflict with Taichi's romance dramas. Any programs that feature Tenma are obviously given priority.
Do company members ever visit other members at their part-time jobs? And are they regular customers?
Apparently, Citron and Guy frequent Sakuya's part time job, a Western-style resturant, for lunch. Misumi also comes, but only for its morning triangle-shaped sandwiches...
Out of all the marshmallows Hisoka's eaten, which one is his favorite?
The fresh gourmet chocolate marshmallows that Azuma gave him seem to be his current favorite.
Besides Sakuya and Tasuku, are there any other members who appear as guest actors for other companies?
Winter Troupe does in-between their jobs. Since it's not very often they guest star in plays, when they do, everyone in the troupe goes to watch. Since appearing on Yuzo's stage, Juza has also been invited to occasionally perform as a guest actor.
MANKAI's seen lots of local gourmet foods while traveling for regional performances, have any made their way into the dorm's regular menu?
"Herring soba", is quite popular among the adults, especially Azuma and Sakyo. "Tare katsudon" is a favorite among the students, and "Thai Ramen" is often served after drinking parties and is highly praised by the spice fans.
The troupe members have a variety of part-time jobs, but did anyone have one that was particularly unusual?
Hisoka took a job as a storybook reader. He doesn't want to read short stories anymore since they're too long and tiring. He wouldn't mind picture books again though, he likes that they're short and fun...
Please let us know if any of the member's families are fans of other members.
Kazunari's little sister: Tenma
Taichi's little sister: Azami
Sakyo's mother: Juza
Tsuzuru's little brother, Kaoru: Tasuku (Since seeing "Run Around the Field.")
And surprisingly, Homare's grandmother seems to like Sakuya (Since seeing "Luminous Circus").
What subjects are Itaru, Chikage, and Tsumugi best at teaching?
Basically, Itaru tutors in Math, Chikages tutors English and Social Studies, and Tsumugi tutors Japanese. The college students help out with any other subjects.
What's the rarest prize the Postcard Sweepstakes Society has won?
A boiled egg maker that collabed with Taichi's favorite mascot, Akapoyo-kun. When they first won the prize, they complained that it was "lousy", but apparently it's a really rare item that had only three winners. Lots of troupe members use it, be it for breakfast, muscle building, or when they're hungry after practice.
How were the rookies roles decided when doing re-runs of the 1st~3rd performances?
The troupe members, Director, and Tsuzuru all gather and discuss it. Sometimes it was based on the member's wishes, sometimes it was decided by the other members, sometimes it was just left to Tzuzuru, etc.
The troupe members have practiced all kinds of things for rolebuilding, but is there anything that they continue to do even after their performance?
Azuma's casino, which was originally created for Winter Troupe's 6th play, "RISKY GAME", is occasionally brought back during drinking parties. Some members are also still playing the app "Nyancadia", which was used as role building for Summer Troupe's 2nd play, "The Adventure for Sardines".
What kind of schools are Sekichiku First Commercial High School, which Omi attended, and Chiyomi Public High School, which Sakyo attended?
Sekichiku First Commercial High School has a high post-grad employment rate, and is popular among students who'd rather find a job than seek higher education. Because of that, Sekichiku students who go on to college are fairly rare.
Chiyomi Public High School used to be infamous in its neighborhood as a delinquent school, but it seems to have settled down recently with more mature students.
Chikage took on Masumi as an apprentice in magic tricks, how good has Masumi gotten?
He's got a good memory, so he's already mastered quite a few card and coin tricks. However, he struggles with guiding people's eyes during the build-up, so he's still not perfect at it.
Please tell us about Tenma's recent entertainment gigs.
Recently, he's been playing the lead role in many special dramas, one of which is "KIRIN-KIRIN" a critically acclaimed drama about Edo-period messengers. He's also appeared in commercials for toothpaste and shampoo, both of which quickly took over the dorm. Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten any bonsai gigs yet.
How many shoujo manga are in Muku's collection?
At the moment, he hasn't counted, so he's not really sure. However, it's apparently enough to take up the spare room at his parent's house. They've asked him to switch to e-books. (He's a little reluctant, though, as he prefers to read on paper, and he can't lend e-books to anyone.)

🌸 Sakuma Sakuya
Who was your last LIME message to?
Masumi & Banri. - I invited them to eat lunch with me, and even though they both said 'no way', they always come.
What's the first thing you look for in a lover?
Nothing special. - Sorry, I couldn't think of anything... I can't come up with any requirements. But, I'd be happy if they liked acting.
🌸 Usui Masumi
Are you the type of person who likes to spoil the one you love?
I want to spoil them. (Only Director) - I want to do whatever she wants, even if it's selfish, that's the privilege of being lovers.
When it comes to dates, indoors or outdoors?
Either. (Only Director) - If she wants to eat curry outside, then outdoors. If she wants to eat curry at home, then indoors. Everything I do is up to her.
🌸 Minagi Tsuzuru
Who was your last LIME message to?
Second oldest brother. - He called to ask me when I was coming home, so I told him I'd be home this weekend. The prodigal eldest son has come home for the first time in a while.
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Checking the script. - I go over the script with the lead and the director. If we find something we think needs improvement, we sometimes just change it on the spot.
🌸 Chigasaki Itaru
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Waist. - This is the only other thing aside from my face that Yuki's praised. I also think that's why a lot of my costumes emphasize my waist.
When it comes to dates, indoors or outdoors?
Indoors. - I could go outside, but the glare from the sun makes it hard to see my screen. If I want to game, I'd have to be inside.
🌸 Citron
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Skin. - My tan skin is so sexy! All natural too!
Who was your last LIME message to?
Omi. - I got a lot of free vegetables from the shopping district! I asked Omi to cook us a Japanese dinner.
☀️Sumeragi Tenma
Who was your last LIME message to?
Taichi. - It was about.... a school schedule thing. It's not like I'm trying to do make up lessons or anything like that!
When it comes to dates, indoors or outdoors?
Indoors. - I can't really walk around freely outside because someone could see me. It'd be better to spend our free time watching movies or just talking about stuff.
☀️Rurikawa Yuki
Are you the type of person who likes to spoil the one you love?
I want to spoil them. - I'm a guy, I should be allowed to spoil my lover, right?
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Costume maintenance. - I check for dirt or loose threads, and get rid of any dust and wrinkles. I want the costumes to be as perfect as the performance.
☀️ Sakisaka Muku
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Hair. - I didn't really like how curly my hair was at first, but after being complimented by Kazu-kun and Azu-nee, I started to like it.
Who was your last LIME message to?
Sakuya. - I found the most wonderful book of plays at the library, and I wanted to read it together by the riverbank. We were both so invested in it, we ended up being late for dinner...
☀️ Ikaruga Misumi
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Eyes. - I have triangles in my eyes! Did you know? If you didn't, make sure to take a closer look next time! I get a little embarrassed when people stare at me so closely, though~.
When it comes to dates, indoors or outdoors?
Outdoors. - I'd want to go triangle hunting together! After we found a really nice one, we would eat onigiri! Doing it with two people is definitely more fun than just one.
☀️ Miyoshi Kazunari
Are you the type of person who likes to spoil the one you love?
I want to spoil them. - I wanna spoil them~. Isn't being pampered by the person you love the best!? Of course, it'd be nice if they'd spoil me once in a while too ☆
Who was your last LIME message to?
Frooch-san. - I wanted to get some new resource collections for my designs, but I was shot down immediately. "Draw it yourself," he said. Can't be helped, so I'm gonna show him what an art student's really made of.
🍂 Settsu Banri
Who was your last LIME message to?
Tasuku. - He called me to play soccer tonight. Y'know that's really the only time he ever LIMEs me? I'm fine with it, though. Let's me get some exercise other than practice every once and while.
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Napping. - I usually eat something then take a nap. Autumn Troupe does a lot of action, and that takes up a lot of energy. I try to rest my body so I can perform the best I possibly can.
🍂 Hyodo Juza
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Eat. - I eat sweets. I try to choose warm ones so I don't mess up my throat.
When it comes to dates, indoors or outdoors?
Either. - Whatever they want. I'm not as up to date with the latest trends as Taichi or Kazunari-san, but... I could show them good sweet shops.
🍂 Nanao Taichi
What's the first thing you look for in a lover?
Love! - I-If they love me, that's enough....! As long as we're in love, I don't need anything else! Uuu...! This is a little embarrassing, huh~?
When it comes to dates, indoors or outdoors?
Outdoors. - We'd shop, eat crepes, skateboard, and then.... and then after that...! I want to so bad~! Dang it~! It'll happen one day.
🍂 Fushimi Omi
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Facial scar. - It's not really confidence, per say, but... When I look at it, I'm reminded that the past me is the reason I'm here today. I've come to feel that way since joining the company.
Who was your last LIME message to?
Itaru. - I asked him if he was getting dinner at the dorm. Itaru-san often goes out to eat for work meetups. To think how he balances practice, gaming, and work... it's pretty amazing.
🍂 Furuichi Sakyo
Are you the type of person who likes to spoil the one you love?
It depends on the person. - I'd like to spoil them, but I'd be strict with them if it's for their own good. Well, I guess you could also say that's a form of spoiling them.
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Taking a break in the back of the theater. - The dressing room in the theater isn't very big, and Autumn Troupe is full of big guys. I usually go out back and read the customer surveys.
❄️Tsukioka Tsumugi
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Hands. - It's just because I get a lot of compliments on how beautiful my hands are. To be honest though, I don't really get it...
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Chatting. - I try to communicate with everyone as much as possible. You can improve a lot of things just by talking, like what we could improvise, etc.
❄️ Takato Tasuku
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Back muscles. - I've been focusing a lot on my back and shoulders, so that's where I'm most confident. Though lately, I've been having to focus on my abs because Rurikawa keeps nagging me about not changing costume sizes.
What's the first thing you look for in a lover?
Understanding of theater. - I'm all about theater and not really the thoughtful type. I don't think I could be in a relationship very long with someone who doesn't understand that. I'd try my best to be understanding of them too, though.
❄️Mikage Hisoka
Who was your last LIME message to?
Tsumugi. - He mentioned he was going to a convenience store in the next town over, so I asked him to pick up some marshmallows. I asked for these yogurt-flavored marshmallows, which you can't buy anywhere around here. I've gotten kind of addicted to them.
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Napping. - Eating marshmallows and sleeping. It noisy in the dressing room (Alice mainly) and it makes it hard to sleep. Thankfully, Itaru gave me a pair of expensive earplugs so I'm able to sleep comfortably.
❄️ Arisugawa Homare
Are you the type of person who likes to spoil the one you love?
I want to spoil them. - Isn't it normal to want to serve the one you love? If they wanted a hug, I would gently embrace them. If they wanted to hear my poetry, I would recite it as much as they desired.
When it comes to dates, indoors or outdoors?
Outdoors. - Thanks to various trips I've been on as an author, I have lots of places I'd like to show them. Meeting new people and seeing new scenery, it's a wonderful way to enrich your life and broaden your horizons.
❄️ Yukishiro Azuma
What part of yourself are you most confident in?
Secret. - I get lots of compliments on my hair and my looks, but... The thing I'm most confident in? Fufu, f you cuddle with me, I'll tell you.
How do you spend your time in between matinees and soirees?
Shower. - Winter Troupe's plays don't have anything too strenuous, but still, I sweat a lot. Taking a lukewarm shower helps me rest, and refreshes my body and mind, too.

(translation under the cut)
(glitch text ignore)
What is Juza studying now that he attends Yosei University?
He attends the Literature Department, same as Tsuzuru, and is studying various things including performing arts. He often borrows Tsuzuru's old textbooks, including Theater Studies and other courses.
Where does Kamekichi usually stay? Does he have a designated place to sleep?
The dorm has an attic, he usually sleeps there. (**With Matsukawa!)
Kumon said he wants to make a troupe baseball club, has he made any progress with that?
Nothing in particular, but since they've played baseball in a performance (Summer Troupe's fourth performance "First Crush Baseball") and the entire company joined in and played baseball (Act 6), he's been able to gather a decent amount of people whenever he asks.
Please tell us who says the longest and shortest baths. (Secretly).
Longest bathers: Citron, Azuma, Hisoka (falls asleep)
Shortest bathers: Tsuzuru, Misumi, Juza
Please tell us any theater members who took lessons as children.
There's quite a lot, but a little surprisingly, Masumi was in swimming club and Yuki studied piano.
Please tell us any theater members who took part in clubs during their school days.
Itaru: Computer Club (ghost member)
Muku: Track and Field Club
Kumon: Baseball Club
Juza: Shogi Club (ghost member)
Tasuku & Tsumugi: Theater Club
Homare: Choir
Azuma: Tea Ceremony Club
Are there any popular games among the troupe, like 'Nyancadia'?
A certain FPS (first person shooter) has become popular among some of the members.
How is the MANKAI Company blog managed?
The duties aren't very specific, basically people who are good at writing or haven't written much lately are assigned to it. The only required thing is that the lead of every performance writes one after the closing night. A general rule is that Sakyo is supposed to do a final check before posting, but lots of people don't follow this, so he's trying to develop a countermeasure.
Please tell us which members are on Inste.
Everyone has an account, but most of them rarely post or have none at all. However, Kazunari, Kumon, Taichi, and Homare seem to post on a daily basis.
The computer in the dorm must've been an older model, has it been replaced since then? Is there even internet connection?
It became so unusable over time, even Sakyo gave his permission to have it replaced. Also, since Chikage took the liberty of changing their wired connection to wireless, the internet is much better than before.
Do family members ever come visit the dorm?
Not many, since a lot of the troupe members regularly visit their parent's homes.
Was the 'Ramen Map' the members were working on ever finished?*
*reference to mantou fist event story
They've eaten almost all of them, so now the map is only updated when a new restaurant opens. Apparently, some members have discussed creating a new map soon.
Chikage only has a chair and a suitcase on his side of the dorm room, does he ever plan to add any more furniture?
He doesn't like to keep any unnecessary things on hand, so he doesn't plan on adding any big furniture to his room unless he has to. By the way, there's also a closet in the room that's not shown.
Is there an origin story for the "gate" Kumon and Itaru are "guarding"?
We think it's based on a dark fantasy series called "FIVE GATES", which was serialized in a weekly shounen manga magazine. It was adapted into an anime and a live-action movie a few years ago and has become a social phenomenon since then.
Please tell us why Azami doesn't like to show the silhouette of his body. (form fitting clothes)
Although he's tall, he's sensitive about his thin build.
Guy likes to collect records, what genre of music does he usually listen to?
He likes country and funk music especially.
What kind of schools are Tsukushi High, Tanegaoka Middle School, Veludo Second Middle School, and Fuyou University Middle School, respectfully?
*veludo second is where taichi went to middle school, fuyou uni is where kazunari went
Tsukushi High: A very ordinary public high-school in terms of behavior and culture. It's not as free-spirited as Ouka High, but the education is more relaxed.
Tanegaoka Middle School: Some students have bad behavior, and it's often seen as a delinquent middle school. It's popular for its free-spirited school culture, and the percentage of students who move on to Tsukushi High is relatively large.
Veludo Second Middle School: It has the biggest student population in the area, and the rules are a little stricter. It's rumored that a lot of students dye their hair immediately after graduation.
Fuyou University Middle School: This is a famous school in Japan, and many of its students come from wealthy families. The school trademark is its gray gakuran.
How close are the schools to MANKAI Company? (Closest to farthest).
Ouka High → Amabi University of Art & Design → Tsukushi High → Hanasaki High → Tanegaoka Middle School → St. Flora & Yosei University.
Please tell us of any changes or incidents in the dorm that have occurred since the new members have joined.
Face and body lotion were placed in the bathroom for all members to use, and surprise skin checks are conducted by Azami. Also, some members accidentally used Chikage's spices and were temporarily incapacitated.
How far is the MANKAI dorm from the MANKAI theater?
About a three minute walk.
Who takes up the most room in the MANKAI fridge?
There's the triangular foods Misumi collects and the soy milk that Banri drinks regularly. Sometimes Juza will buy discounted sweets in bulk and stores them there. There's not much space for personal snacks, so some members have mini-fridges in their own rooms.
Some of MANKAI's members have cars and/or motorcycles, do they have a garage or a parking lot?
There is a garage, but it's used for storage. Members park in the parking lot.
What are some of the group LIME chats within MANKAI company?
"Mahjong Club", "Spicy Cuisine Research Society", "Soccer Club", and any other club activites.
"Let's Drink Alcohol", which is adults-only and used when they want to drink.
"Tenten Sightings", which is used to share info about Tenma's roles.
There's also chats for each troupe and, of course, one with everyone (including the Director and Manager) called "MANKAI Company Contact Network".

(translation under the cut)
(glitch text ignore)
Who is the first to wake up, and conversely, who is the last? (Other than Hisoka)
Tasuku wakes up earliest, and Azuma wakes up the latest. (However, when Azuma has morning practice, he wakes up and arrives to the practice room five minutes early.)
Is remodeling the dorm room walls allowed?
Actually, it's not! But since there's so many members that live at their own pace, in their own worlds, it can't be helped. The Director and the Manager gave up and just let them do whatever they want.
Have any troupe members been given nicknames by the fans?
Apparently, the number of fans using Kazunari's nicknames is increasing after seeing his daily Inste posts.
Out of the 12 dorm rooms, which one is the most lively?
Muku and Kazunari's Room 202. It's where Summer Troupe gathers, and tea parties are held... It's a room that can easily become crowded.
What was the main reason MANKAI Company had an (approximately) 10 million yen debt?
It's mainly because of the cost of maintaining the theater and the dormitory. As well as the debt from each performance. The costs could have been lower, but the manager was so hopelessly inept at making ends meet, they ended up in this situation.
Kazunari's parents have been mentioned to be pretty well known, what kind of job do they have?
His father works as a project planner for an advertising agency, and his mother is a piano instructor. Connections with Kazunari's father is also how Spring Troupe was able to appear on Veludo TV during its debut performance.
It's been mentioned that Banri's sister has already moved out. How old is she, and what's she like?
She's five years older than Banri. She doesn't sweat the small stuff, and generally has a pretty manly personality. Her face is similar to Banri's.
What kind of part-time jobs does Hisoka do?
He's pretty handy with just about anything, so he's done everything from restaurant halls to office work. He enjoyed working at a cat cafe the most.
Do they sell bromides and other goods for each performance?
They sell small goods and bromides. Kazunari is in charge of designing them, of course. Some troupe members are working hard to expand the variety of goods, but passing Sakyo's profit margin check is a difficult task.
Out of the members in year one, Sakyo is the only one who wears glasses. Is there anyone who wears contacts?
Itaru, Kazunari, Tsumugi, and Homare all wear contact lenses.
Please tell us where the actors eat during their performances.
They often eat in the dressing room or in the back of the theater. Some only drink jelly drinks and don't eat a proper meal until after that day's performances...
It seems like there would be a lot of grocery shopping. How many people usually go?
Since they shop quite often, usually 1~3 people. They keep in touch with each other via a group LIME and will sometimes help out on the way home. If they need to buy a lot, then they'll probably take a car with 4 or 5 people. There's lots of rich members, so money isn't a worry.
Please tell us where Matsukawa Isuke lives.
Actually, MANKAI dorms have an attic. He lives there. You can reach it by going up the stairs on the second floor.
Is there a curfew or any other rules like that in the MANKAI dorms?
Basically, no, but the high-schoolers would get lectured by Sakyo if they stayed out too late. Since there's night practice and dinner, no one in the troupe stays out that late.
Could you tell us the price of a ticket to one performance?
It depends on the performance, but it's generally 4500 yen for adults or 5000 yen at the door. Weekday discounts are also available.
Please tell us the members who don't sleep well. (Secretly).
I guess it's a tie between Misumi and Juza?
Please tell us what the popular spots in Veludo are.
There's actually lots of delicious sweets stores in Veludo. Donut shops with wide varieties of flavors are popular among both young and old.
Who takes the most time to get ready in the morning, and who takes the least?
People who take the most: Kazunari, Taichi, and Homare
People who take the least: Tsuzuru, Juza, and Tasuku
Please list the schools in order of distance from MANKAI dorms. (Closest to furthest.)
Ouka High → Amabi University of Art & Design → Hanasaki High → St. Flora & Yosei University. O-High is about a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the dorm, but Tenma alone takes about 15-20 minutes to walk there.
The MANKAI dorms has two practice rooms, how do they decide who uses which?
The rotation is decided once a month at the leader's meeting, after each troupe has expressed their desires. Troupes with upcoming performances are given priority as they have to practice more rigorously.
Since there's only one bathroom, is there a set bathing order?
Summer Troupe, which has a lot of students, is first. Followed by Autumn, Spring, and Winter. However, since everyone has work and practice that make it difficult to to be on time, they're free to join in as they please.
Are the saving slogans Sakyo created being followed? (20 minute bathing slots per troupe, lights out at 10 pm, etc.)
Some members try to, but there's very few. Some may have just forgotten about the slogans, or were never aware of them in the first place.
MANKAI Company has a lot of student members, so how can they hold weekday performances?
On weekdays, only soirées (evening shows) are held. In addition, many of the schools are understanding of the theater's situation, and members are sometimes able to leave class early in exchange for make-up classes. (If they apply in advance.)
How are cleaning and laundry duties decided?
This is also decided once at month at the leader's meeting. Some troupe members suck at both of these tasks, so the more caring troupe members make up for them as needed.
Please tell us the male to female ratio of MANKAI Company's fans.
It's about 7:3 women to men. Since it's a male only troupe, the percentage of female fans is naturally higher. However, some members have very enthusiastic male fans.
