Someone got mad at me for making bronco trans so i drew pre and post op bronco

Every now and then I think abt that scene where Simeon tells Bronco he left something in the portable chessboard. It haunts me.

He thinks Bronco doesn’t care about him but then casually tells him something incriminating and Bronco NEVER informs Fifi where he got the chisel

okay im back to this. so i THINK the intention of the scene is that simeon expected bronco to assume it was an inconsequential gift so bronco wouldn't be suspicious. And when Fifi accuses Bronco of hiding the weapon, Bronco covers for Simeon less to protect him and more "this lady is accusing me of shit that's not true, why would i tell her anything".

but it's interesting how every single interpretation of their relationship either assumes that Bronco immediately knew the chisel was going to lead to his death somehow and that simeon resented him, or that he wasn't fully aware but he chose to hide where he got the chisel from Fifi to protect Simeon.

So it's like. Why did the game add that one line. Why does Simeon tell Bronco about the chisel. And why is there no acknowledgement that Bronco died protecting Simeon? I wish Case 5 didn't skim over their relationship after recontextualizing it because their relationship is so interesting and painfully underexplored
