A few months ago I randomly drew Pokémon with investigations characters and was having lots of fun, so I thought I’d post them here! some spoilers and explanations below!!

Okay I feel like I cooked with Shih-na and Zoroark, for the resident shapeshifter. I imagine as Callisto Yew, Zoroark (who can trick others by changing their appearance) presents like a spritzee or something similar, like the perfume. Her and Zoroark just work well, they’re both tricky, have the same color pallet.. and the cherry on top is that it literally fits with the whole wolf thing Lang got going on (even if it’s kinda fox like too ITS CLOSE ENOUGH)

Delibird carries like gifts and food in its tail, so Eustace’s is always making sure he’s well fed and as happy as possible, even though I think his dad bullied him relentlessly for having a weak Pokémon. I was really hoping I could find a Pokémon that was weak against fire, then evolved to be a type that was strong against fire? Like starts ice, then evolves to water type, but I just couldn’t TT oh well, maybe when Eustace goes against his dad, Delibird learns a move that can beat blaziken in a battle? I grew really fond of this the more I drew it <3

I wanted Kay to have sort of a hand me down Pokémon from her dad, but I thought froakie worked well, and it can maybe evolve into frogadier as she grows up. At first, I wanted the Yatagarasu members to all have matching Pokémon, bear Pokémon came to mind. So maybe Kay ALSO has a pancham
