cinnamon isn't exactly an uncommon scent, but minseok can easily feel it among the others, memories flooding with the first time he stepped into the hogwarts express, friendless and looking for an empty cabin to sit in. the only one he could find had only been occupied by one girl in long hair, easting small cinnamon buns, looking disinterested at his direction once he opened the door. he can recall her glare, his own glare back and then her roll of eyes, her throwing the package on his face and her muttering about keeping her stomach for some candy trolley.

it's doesnt remind him of any specific moment, although he thinks of the few muggle photographies his parents keep at home, or the ones he carries with his personal stuff everytime he comes to hogwarts. rather than the smell of the ink, the motionless picture showing a past second of his life reminds him of that exact moment.

earth after rain

minseok always lived in the big city between crowded buldings, so all the rain brought was the damp sensation on his skin and hair. the first time he could properly smell wet earth was when a tiny flower shop settled just around the corner of his home and he was coming back from school, umbrella held close and shoes squeaking under him. he fondly remembers the moment a gust of wind brought the scent to his nose as a few potted plants rested on the pavement, water washing on the contrasting green of the small leaves.

I guess it's being an ass sometimes. I'm not very blunt but I have moments where I'm a little mean OTL Minseok is a little hard to play since we're not very similar.

Not much to be honest. Right now I can't even think of something we have in common-- maybe the fact we're grumpy and a bit closed when it comes to real feelings, but he's definitely "worse".
