Vashil peeped again and stepped back as Ammy sat her head down, before immediately moving forward, very close, to her snout. He gave a gentle little curious peck to her nose, trying to figure out what was covering her, since it was CLEARLY not feathers; but she wasn’t featherless either like some friend that have visited the ranch before her. Vashil peeped again, and Starlight from her perch peeped back; they were discussing!!! Croud gave a soft “kweh!” and they quieted down for a moment, before they begain peeping again but much more quietly.

   Ooph, careful, little one! That is a very soft, sensitive nose you just pecked at… Amaterasu wiggles her head a little- a head shake on the ground- and makes a noise that sounds between huff and a sneeze. That’s gonna bother her for awhile… Hopefully nothing else boops her nose like that after this or some discipline will have to occur!!       ….Probably a paw to the head, or something.

   “It’s fur,” she tries to murmur to them, hoping they might listen. To any other human, she made some very chattery, dog noises, but to other animals? It’s a universally understood language. The other benefits of being a kami: even in one form, your words are universally understood.

   It’s why she’s one of few dogs to get along with cats. Her brilliance and words assure them that they are safe with her, it is proven, and more friends are made. Humans must either be barked at or she must find time to shift forms. It’s kinda troublesome, actually…

Croud gave another soft “kweh!”, though whether it actually communicated anything was unknown as none of the little chicks seemed to pay attention to him. He huffed, though only watched as the two curious little ones continued to peep around the dog. When she spoke, Vashil quieted down once more, staring at her; the odd friend could talk like them!!! Vashil practically bounced in delight, genuinely happy to make a new friend that could understand them!!! This one was smart unlike the tall featherless ones.

Char peeped finally, in response to her words, something along the lines of either “Is it like feathers?” or “He slithers leathers.” Realistically it was most likely the first one, but the chick had his mouth full of Greens, so it could of easily been the latter...

Chocobos are the type of animal that sticks with their riders till the very end, meaning if you get stuck in a blizzard they will lay on you to keep you warm and most likely freeze to death themselves, or if you happen to be drowning they will do their best to get you even if you fall to the very bottom of the lake and end up drowning themselves; they're very loyal creatures and that's why its important to keep them out of battles.

A delighted “KWEH!!” from Grace alerts the other two, as well as the small babies that all is good and safe, and that they may approach. Croud, though a bit awkwardly, situated himself down right behind the dog, long neck curling around and a soft, happy chitter leaving him!! Char happily munched with Hazel and Grace as Starlight climbed the wolf tosnuggle onto her back; Vashil stood in front, peeping loudly as if curious as to what Ammy was!! It seems she is very well accepted amongst the Chocobos!!

   Friends!! She’s made friends!!!! Her tail picks up a little in delight, but Amaterasu is careful to keep it steady, especially once little Starlight climbed onto the wolf’s back. Don’t wanna be too full of happy wiggles and accidentally shake the little one off!       (Which probably means she’s gonna be stuck there for awhile. Not only is her fur soft, but being a sun god means she’s warm and that’s always lovely when the weather cools.)

   The goddess gave a soft, low whine of an unspoken question, tilting her head at Vashil. My, my… And what’s this little fluffy bird doing? Is he curious about her? Well, she’ll lay her head down, then, so he can look around at her all he wants! Maybe that will help~

Ignis is volunteering at the ranch again. He's had a very stressful couple of days and needed a quick break. And now here he is, feeding all the chocobos and petting them and grooming them until their feathers are as shiny as can be. He's truly happy.

Char is of the first to zoom right on up at the sight of his new featherless friend!! The little dark gray baby bounced and peeped with absolute delight!!! The next to aproach was Croud, who seemed very curious of his glasses and was getting very close to look at them. Hazel and Grace seemed rather preoccupied with dealing with Vashil and Starlight to notice him.

   The most you’re gonna get from this doggo is her sitting down, then sliding down so she’s laying down… Always a good approach when you want to show that there’s no threat to be had, here; just a friendly wolf who appreciates all (friendly) life and will often give a helping paw to anyone who needs it.

   …Ammy is pretty happy, though, so don’t mind the pleasantly thumping tail. She’s just happy to be here and spread yummy food around the land~!

Big, fluffy birds like food? Ammy's taken notice of what they eat and brought them some good stuff. Who among the birds will the bravest to accept yummy food from a good dog-wolf friend??

Though cautious, Grace was the first to move forward, quiet but curious chitters leaving her. If all went well, the others would soon follow, but if not Grace was prepared to fend off the harmful intruder!!! She pecked curiously at the food, keeping a close eye on the dog!!!
