This is ridiculously awesome. I can’t find the one with English subtitles, but basically they’re saying that if you’re interested in the goods that they are currently experimenting and making, it’s only available as gifts if you attend their events throughout S. Korea. They’re making figures, mugs, cushions, etc. with the mindset of making successful pieces. If they’re successful with the products, they’ll think about releasing it out to the market and actually make it a trademarked and fully licensed brand.

(0:16 and on to 1:20) PD: What are you making? Guy: These are products displaying and advertising MapleStory 2. We are making figurines, mugs, fans, cushions... well things like that. It’s not only about the game, but we have been collectively gathering the products in thinking of creating the image of the MapleStory 2 brand. And this is what we are experimenting on.

PD: Where can you buy these products? Guy: I did say that they are products, but actually we did not have the thought of selling our products yet. However, whenever we hold various events we are planning on to give them (products) out as gifts. So in actuality, we are making them with the mindset of "let’s make these as if we are actually advertising and successfully selling the products”. As of now, it is up to the industry’s decision whether or not we are to manufacture these products to sell to the public.

PD: Why do you make these? Girl: “It’d be nice to see the in-game characters in a real life concept. Personally, I want to collect cute mugs that have monsters on them. Wouldn’t it be nice/pretty to display the mugs next to your computer desktop?”

PD: Are you planning on to continuing this in the future? Guy: “Well, possibly. If we get good feedback and reactions from people we can probably continue making them. If people continue supporting and loving our product(s) then we will create many other kinds of figures. And maybe in the future, we can create an art book concept.

Yesterday I went on maple for the 2nd time in months

GOOD. HOLY. GOD. This game I cannot ... Oh and Nexon really knows how to make moolah lul TBH though I really like that monopoly game they put out -- it's quite impressive -- taking away my finals studying time . Kudos to Nexon .
