Many people have sent me anonymous messages over the years asking how I am able to travel often and live in so many varied places. The short answer is: I take every opportunity and go with it 100%.

One of those opportunities was to work with an organization called Loop Abroad. It's a summer program based in Thailand that is designed for high school and college students who love or want to experience adventure and travel, and especially targeted at those who love animals. There are programs catered to those interested in outdoor adventure, veterinary care and teaching - or a combination! Each trip spends at least one week at the Elephant Nature Park, working alongside elephants.
