I havent shaved in like 10 years (except for tattoos) and you quickly get used to the normal hairy state of your body. More women should push throught the initial discomfort of not complying to the patriarchy tbh. It makes you realize such how much bullshit women are expected to do

exactly it’s so stupid how people online try to pathologize it as a “sensory issue” when its just something they aren’t used to bc they’ve been shaving their body bald for 10+ years. like actually it has nothing to do with autism you just are noticing your natural body hair for the first time in over a decade and you’ll get over it and go wow i can’t believe i used to regularly shave my whole body bald i can’t imagine wasting my time on that

and not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but another reason I hate the return of 2000’s th*nspo shit is bc starving does make women frail and has longer term consequences like early osteoporosis, brittle bones/teeth, insomnia, ect. Your muscles will start eating themselves. It also makes you extremely emotional and severely lowers your capacity for critical thinking not bc you’re a girl but because your brain isn’t getting any fucking nutrients so idk I just feel like its very convenient that every time there’s an uptick in fascist rhetoric and women’s rights are being stripped suddenly it’s peak fashion for women to be starving, weak, and exhausted

and whenever people criticize women who get cosmetic procedures done and who enslave themselves to beauty standards it’s always met with “it’s not their fault, it’s the patriarchy” and i find that to be such a circular, never ending blame game. yes fucking obviously it’s the true fault of the patriarchy but you can’t hold a system of social hierarchy accountable because the decisions individuals make constitute said system. and turning it into a chicken or the egg debate does nothing besides shift blame to something that cannot be reckoned with or addressed. stop blaming the patriarchy at large for the individual decisions of fully autonomous women

i’m so glad that the only two labs on the planet to have live samples of smallpox are two of the most warhungry and least ethical countries in the world. combined with the fact that the only reason to keep live smallpox stored is to engineer biological warfare with it. and both were asked by the WHO to destroy the samples and neither obliged because they kept coming up with research to do with the samples and delay their destruction. anyways here’s another little information tidbit that’ll sit in the back of your mind and make you a little bit more nervous to be alive
