Accidentally-on-purpose adopted a new Exalted character. Her name is Black Sand and she's a Dynast who exalted as a solar and...hey, wait. Isn't that just like my OTHER Exalted character?

Yes.

Black Sand was an NPC meant to be mistaken for Shame who I ended up playing for a couple sessions and thus she's mine now, no take-backsies.

Unlike Shame however, she's a Night caste and really enjoying being suddenly powerful and she's being a real brat about it.

So...Shame's Lunar is named Silent Shadow and her animal is a cobra. She's also extremely practical and competent and Shame has such a big crush on her and absolutely will not admit it because she is a married woman, damn it!

Anyway, while drawing this I decided this is a dream that Shame had.

New story arc, new character art

Shame got some new (to her) clothes and a makeover courtesy of some Lunar blood magic (avoiding unpacking the blood drinking thing) and now she's ready to kick some ass (unless it's a bad day, in which case she'll be shit-faced drunk and VERY pathetic about it).

Ambrosius' design is based on the historical aesthetic of the landsknechte - German mercenaries during the late 15th century. However, in-game he's always had ahistorical weapons for game mechanics reasons. I've been learning a bit about greatswords recently and I wanted to draw him with a more accurate weapon.

I referenced the pose from this video, which has some cool examples of various techniques with the weapon.

Somehow I never posted this here. My beloved boy and his beloved murderer (it's fine, it wasn't on purpose, they're chill now and Ambrosius has a neat neck scar and a permanently detachable head because...magic!)

Ambrosius has never actually communicated to Dimitru that he has PARTICULAR feelings for him but he also doesn't think those feelings would be returned since Dimitru has a whole other romance going on with an NPC who is very charming and delightful. Also Ambrosius wouldn't know what to do in a relationship that isn't purely transactional. His ideal outcome would probably be "Dimitru and his girlfriend sometimes let me play with them as their third" but that's like advanced mode romance by the standards of my DnD group. He'll just quietly sit on his feelings, it's FINE.
