Greetings and salutations! I'm Mara, as you can probably tell from my profile. I just want to share with you a few rules for interacting with me and my posts so you are familiar with my boundaries. This list may update as time goes on.
INTERACTION RULES
I strongly suggest you occasionally use tone indicators with me. That way, I will know what you mean when you say certain sentences such as “you make me want to scream” or “you’re so crazy”, since they can be quite vague by themselves and/or can be taken into the wrong context. There are also some tone indicators attached to this post if you are unfamiliar. These tone tags are also how I myself use them.
You must tell me which pronouns you wish to be addressed to so I do not misidentify you by mistake. If you use neopronouns, explain to me how you use them as I am not familiar with them.
DNI if you are a proshipper, roleplay account (I don't do roleplays), an account that primarily uses or creates AI generated content, spam bot, or a person who engages in suspicious behavior, as these type of people make my (and my followers’) experience uncomfortable.
As an adult, some of my content may contain heavy topics that may not be suitable for minors or content that may upset or disturb people. Such content will include a trigger warning or content warning. If I overlook certain trigger/content warnings, please let me know. However, there will be NO NSFW content whatsoever, as I do not feel comfortable with posting such content here.
DO NOT FLIRT WITH ME OR ATTEMPT TO PURSUE A ROMANTIC, PLATONIC, OR SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP WITH ME. I DO NOT WISH TO PURSUE ANY ONLINE RELATIONSHIPS OF THAT KIND WHATSOEVER.
Unless I explicitly state otherwise, you may send me DMs at anytime, as I will eventually read them at some point. If I detect suspicious behavior such as attempting to scam, harass, or threaten me, I will delete your message. Repeated offenses will result in you being blocked. The same applies to the asks as well.
Do not put me in any group chats, as I generally do not have the energy to contribute to them and often times don't feel safe in them.
Discussing political topics is fine as long as it is civil and doesn’t result in harassment or insults. If you use this as a way to insult people, you will be blocked.
I will likely send you DMs at unpredictable times. If you do not want me to DM you at a certain time, let me know.
