Some advice after years of following KH news (literally 13 years now)
never believe a release date unless it’s at the end of a trailer or on an official website (Disney, Square-Enix or one of their social medias)

The development team was super-passionate about getting the Tangled world in the game. Usually, the team members just suggest world ideas to Nomura, but with Tangled, they virtually insisted.
Nomura promises “primarily new worlds” – as in, new to the series.
They might be able to announce another world “very, very soon.” They met with Disney recently to discuss when and where it’d be best to do it.
The dandelion Heartless in the Tangled world spawn more Heartless with their seeds. The general plan for the game is to have the Heartless collaborate with each other more and do more complex stuff.
Sora’s new costume was designed to look like a halfway point between his costumes from Kingdom Hearts II and Dream Drop Distance.
It was also made super-sleek and sporty to facilitate his newer, more complex moves and animations.
They did make his hair less wild, and while he’s otherwise physically no different than he used to be, his costume has fewer bells and whistles on it, which makes him look a bit slimmer – and, again, much sportier.
They prepared a huge amount of stuff for the trailer and ultimately whittled it down to just the flashiest and most eye-catching material.
