âIs it really considered dramatic if you literally make me want to throw up sometimes?â Preston spit out as he thought about a young katrina, most likely a brat and even worse than she was now if she could be capable of maturing at all from that age. Even her smug smile made the hair on the back of prestonâs neck stand up. âIâm sure you did.â He said rolling his eyes. Looking down at the boots that preston demanded to wear despite the schoolâs policy of wearing dress shoes he shrugged. âAnd Iâm still waiting for the day when all that hot air in your head finally bursts and we can be finally rid of the wicked witch of the West. Looks like itâs going to take a while though isnât it?â Something about her had always stirred the worst of Preston. âThen it better look good next to a huge red hand across that pretty cheek of yours cause listen, luv, itâs gunna happen.â And when it does he truly wants to be there to see that cat fight.
Katarina merely arched her brow as she chuckled lowly. âThe feeling is very much mutual, your stench alone is enough to make anyone gag.â She stated coldly. Despite the words he was throwing at her, and they may have cut through a normal person but Katarina had never been a normal person. âHot air? Are you attempting to insult me by calling me an airhead?â She asked, taking a small, yet warning step towards him and letting a low chuckle escape from deep in the back of her throat. âI can promise my GPA is higher than yours, sweetheart.â She breathed out. That sweet, little smile still evident on her lips as she looked him over once more, the neutral yet slightly bored expression still written across her features, not daring to give him an inch of what she was truly thinking about him whether it be positive or negative. âWell, thank you for calling me, pretty. Even an ignorant fool such as yourself still can still see what is clearly right in front of him,â a perfect manicured hand reaching up and stroking Prestonâs cheek for a moment. âThe day someone dear lay a hand on me is the day that cows will fly, though Iâm pretty sure I saw Tammy standing on the rooftop, so it could be any day now.â
âWow, Kat. Good to  know four years later and youâre still acting like a 10 year old who didnât get their pink pony for their birthday.â He watched almost disgusted by the childish act. Preston wasnât completely nice, mostly keeping to himself but he sure as hell hadnât seen a move like that⊠well ever. âAre you sure you havenât watched too many of those lame ass American high school movies? Because youâre one bloody class act.â He said pushing off the wall as he watched the younger student scuddle off after gathering their stuff. He didnât help them but youâd never see him playing such a lame move on one of the freshman. âIâm just waiting for the day one of these baby rats around here snaps and hits yah so hard that perfect red lipstick smudges across your face.âÂ
Katarina barely glanced at the male as she continued to saunter down the hallway, stopping in her tracks when he began speaking. Waggling a finger at him in a condescending manner. âOh no, I got the pony.â She said coolly, that trademark, cat-like smile gracing her porcelain features as she looked him over, the blatant look of disdain coming into play. âand the jumping castle and the antique dollhouse which I threw down the stairs when my sister wanted it.â She said smugly. Sucking in air through her teeth as she shook her head, closing her eyes momentarily. âPreston, darling, I will honestly live for the day when you realize combat boots went out when Kurt Cobain did.â She stated, shaking her head and looking at him sadly. âand this,â motioning to her crimson lips. âIs Givenchy Le Rouge, smudging wonât happen, even if someone is stupid enough to try and hit me.â
Leaning against the cobblestone wall of the hallway as she continued to stare at the small Freshmen before her. Examining her freshly manicured nails, though her eyes never left the Freshmen as she watched them struggle to gather up all their school things, an almost bored expression on her face, though anyone who knew Katarina knew that her mind was always ticking, always plotting something. Gracefully pushing herself off the wall as she walked towards the Freshmen, that confident stride sheâd had since she first entered these hallowed halls, barely even glancing at them, her delicate hand reaching out and pushing their books from their struggling hands without even glancing at them, a simple albeit cruel little laugh escaping as she continued to saunter past the now clamoring Freshmen student.
Julian wondered why heâd ever thought drinking was a good idea. He hadnât even gotten that drunk at the party but the headache he was sporting right now was killer. He couldnât focus on anything, let alone school. Groaning, he put his head down on the table, ignoring his lunch. The thought of eating right now made his stomach churn. All he could really think about was how much time he was wasting being atrociously hungover, which only made his headache worse. A nap was out of the question and no way was he going to skip the first week of classes either. When he saw someone out of the corner of his eye, he didnât even hesitate before reaching a hand out, âPleaaaase tell me you have painkillers. I am suffering right now.â At this point, all he could was pray someone would take pity on him and end his pain.Â
Despite drinking quite heavily at the previous party, Katarina looked as if she had woken up and somehow managed to get in time at the day spa before even venturing outside her room. Her curls perfected, hanging around her shoulders loosely and her lipstick applied perfectly, smirking as she stared down at the male. âDo I look like someone who carries around pain killers?â She asked curiously, admittedly sheâd had a few before she had ventured out of her room, but no one around her needed to know that. âYou look disgusting, by the way. You could at least wash your hair.â She stated bluntly.
Being the new kid sucked. Yeah, it was a big enough school now that the two came together, but he was still new. With rugby practice taking up all his time, he had been living out of his suitcase for the past few days and had only just managed to sit down and sort his stuff out in his shared room. He didnât bother going to the party or even explore the school further, he was here on scholarship, so best not to stand out. Unpacking his largest suitcase was a feat onto itself, and so thatâs what Oliver started with. As soon as he opened the case, an old footie ball his brotherâs had snuck in there popped out and made its way into the hall through the open door. Running after it, Oliver came face to face with someone who had managed to get to it before he did. ââShit, sorry. Didnât even know I pack the fuckinâ thingâŠâ
Sauntering through the hallways as the Berkin bag hanging off her delicate rest gently, the vintage sunglasses shielding her cat-like eyes as she ignored the slightly odd stares she received from her fellow students. Lost in her own world, as she usually was, too focused on herself to truly notice anything around her until the she saw the worn leather football roll out into the hallway, her white hell propping up and stopping the ball as she stopped outside the room, carefully perching the sunglasses atop her head as she stared at the male. Kicking it back into the room with a simple push and smirking at the male, her reddened lips spreading slightly. âOh honey,â she cooed out, laughing softly. âUsually people are ashamed of a vintage teddy bear or blanket, but a football?â Curling up her nose slightly at the sight of it. âYou couldâve at least washed it before packing it.â
( CRYSTAL REED, CISFEMALE, SHE/HER ) Oh hello, you must be KATARINA âKATâ ST. MARCH itâs so nice to meet you. Is it true that youâre an EIGHTEEN year old LEGACY student and in your SEVENTH YEAR? I should warn you, rumour has it youâre pretty SPOILED & SHORT-FUSED but I think youâre really ALLURING & INTELLIGENT - people like to gossip around here, but youâll find out for yourself. Let me show you to CHAMBERLAIN.Â
rewrite your history-
Born to Russian diplomat Elias St. March and his wife, Anna St. March, Katarina was the eldest of two girls and it was very obvious from the start, the one of the St. March girls that would cause her parents the most grief.
From the moment she could talk, Katarina showed a penchant for a sharp wit and spoiled attitude, driving many Nannies out the door before her parents even got the chance to learn their names correctly. Many blamed Katarinaâs attitude merely down to her heritage which was a mixture of Russian and German, but really it was because Elias and Anna spoiled the St. March girls rotten, particularly Katarina.
The St. March spent the first ten years of Katarinaâs life traveling around the globe as her father played his role until they finally settled in London where he turned to being a private consultant to high profile and sometimes, secret clients as Anna adjusted to being a London socialite, something that seemed to suit the St. March mother perfectly while the two sisters adjusted to finally being settled somewhere.
Despite being described as intelligent but all her teachers, the word that often left their mouths, even without intention was disruptive, one teacher even daring to utter the word demon in regards to Kat. She spoke what she felt and it wasnât always kind, in fact, it was rarely kind. Though both Mr. and Mrs. St. March merely pointed out that Katarina had the fire burning inside her, always making excuses for their spoiled and entitled daughter.
Considering both Elias and Anna attended Bodley and Kinglsey respectively, it was a given that their daughters names would be done from the moment they were born, with Katarina being the first to enter the hallowed halls during her Freshmen year.
It wasnât long before Kat made herself known as an alpha female, never backing away from a fight and easily manipulating and twisting those around her. About the only people she seemed to show any kindness towards was her girl group that she quickly established and the long-suffering boyfriend she managed to wrangle in Freshmen year.
Now that she is entering her final year of schooling, Katarina is determined to leave it with her name being forever whispered throughout the halls of the school, especially now that the schools have merged together. Sheâll be leaving behind Bodley with a very loud and memorable splash.
While most are preparing themselves to gain entry into the college of their dreams of working towards making the Honour role, Katarina is starting to think she should start working on her Prom Queen speech.
Light up your wildest dreams-
Think a combination of Eve from Killingeve, Regina George from Mean Girls and Heather Chandler from Heathers and you have Kat.
Extremely manipulative when she needs someone. Isnât past using someone to get exactly what she wants and dumping them without a second glance.
Though she uses her intelligence, she mainly relies on her looks to get what she wants from people.
Is more interested in her social life and partying than her school work, having very little interest, knowing her parents will pay-off for her to attend an ivy league.
Planning to go into Politics and consulting like her father.
Is more like her father than her mother. Inheriting her fatherâs fire and ambition, though one thing she did inherit is her motherâs vanity.
Her father is a Christian and her mother a Ashkenaz Jew. Both St. March girls are also Jewish though Katarina hasnât recently celebrated since her Bar Mitzvah and when she goes back home, mainly to please her mother.
Can speak English, Russian and German and can understand but unable to fluently speak French.
Has a penchant for white and reds, considering them both to be her colors.
Her trademark would be her long dark curls and dark red lipsticks.
Rarely seen without a hair out of place or without her makeup on.
i donât care -
As for connections, Iâm always happy to brainstorm and come up with something fun!! About the only connections I would really love are the ones below.
âBoyfriendâ - this term is used very loosely, they have been dating since their Freshmen but readily sleep and fool around with other people. Their relationship is mainly for appearances than anything else. {0/1}
Girl group - the girls that Kat has been friends with Freshmen year, about the only people that Katarina shows any semblance of kindness towards. she considers them the Queens of the school. {0/3}Â
