my mother would pull me out of bed when i was little to do a rain dance in my nightgown, so that our corn would be extra sweet, and my granny would bury fatback in the yard under a downspout to get rid of a wart, which from what i am told, worked without fail. so glad to see this a while back, in light of recent works in progress. cheers to mountain mamas.
