Venice!
Fidio smiled. âIndeed I do, but in case you forgot Marco, you rather enjoyed my mammaâs cooking as well.â Fidio said as he moved aside with his friend to let others pass by. âHow have you been? Staying out of trouble I hope?â
âOh I love mamma Aldenaâs cooking. Man, all this talk about food is making me hungry, Iâd eat anything right now,â Marco said with a lazy voice. He started laughing as soon as Fidio mentioned the word âtroubleâ. He shook his head. âI try so hard avoiding troubles but they always find me at the wrong time and the wrong place!â said Marco, raising his voice in the middle of the square which scared the pigeons away. In that very moment the church bells began to ring. Marco widened his eyes as soon as he realized he was late for an appoinment. He immediately took Fidioâs wrist and told his friend to come with him. âIâll explain to you later. If we donât start running Iâd be in another big trouble.â
Fidio blinked as he got pulled by his wrist, but soon regained his balance as he ran along with Marco. âWhatâs going on?â Fidio asked as he thought about the church bells. âDid something happen? I thought you were just here for a visit.â
"I promised my grandma I'd lend her a hand with her antique shop." He explained while leading the way, walking across the venetian canals. "I told her earlier I'd be there before the bells make the last chime of the hour." Marco looked back and his hair was blowing in his eyes, and he smiled. "You know, like Cinderella did."
