Jonathan Bean is a veteran investment executive with more than 30 years in alternative asset management and institutional investing. He co-founded Hampden Insurance Partners Management, providing capital to leading global insurers and growing to ~$700M AUM, plus an early event-driven firm (HBV Capital) that reached $1.2B before its 2006 acquisition by BNY Mellon. He previously worked at Allen & Company. Today, he leads family enterprises as President of W.R. Bean & Son (founded 1894) and J.S. Bean & Son, while staying engaged in philanthropy.
