OOC- Warning to Crime GMs, and really everyone

I hate making call outs, but since people are resorting to disgusting OOC tactics and going on with a facist-esque manifesto about intents for Wyrmrest Accord here we go… Yes, I’m talking about Selvatore Melrony.

We already know that Melrony Crime Family is scummy, and that Selvatore ERPs with minors IE this and the additions here. So l will not be rehashing that here. In short: Shane O’Connell came to me (said he didn’t care to remain anon) and told me that Selvatore hired him and a friend of his to OOCly destroy @deadsunharbor and another crime guild.

Mind you. I’ve never interacted with Melrony, because I’ve seen the screenshots. But he decided that I was aligned with a woman who has interacted very little with Dead Sun, named Trixie. So, down to the meat, in the following ‘Samurai Kingpin’ is Selvatore:

Premptive harrassment, he doesn’t know us but he’s more than willing to pay to get us off the server. He also talks about us wanting to take him out? Melrony, you misunderstand– you’re just not on my radar.

Basically Stalking, this is baby stuff compared to the rest of it- but Sel’s been keeping tabs on DSH, for– what I can only infer is to see how easy it would be to decimate our membership.

Slut Shaming, again Trixie has had minimal involvement with DSH– but what she has– has always been polite. Also, it’s just not okay to talk about women this way; or anyone for that matter.

OOC Destruction, No holds barred, meaning he wanted Shane and his friend to troll us oocly. The redacted mentions another guild which I don’t want to drag into this as I’ve not spoken to them.

Now, speaking as someone that has been on this server for a hot ass minute, no. We don’t want you and your ‘Total Regime’. We don’t want your toxicity– your pedophilia– or whatever new virtual-world order you’re trying to bring about. No thanks. Quick note: While Shane did accept the gold, he did not, nor did his friend participate in actually harassing any guilds. They came to me and the other guilds who were targeted with these screenshots.

Dead Sun Harbor is officially black listing Selvatore and his guild. Crime GMs look out for paid plants. Melrony, kiss my Kaldorei ass.

Corollary point: as a player, it’s your job to be an interesting protagonist in a way that still allows for the GM and other players to also have their fun. As a player if you’re just there to fuck around, not contribute to the story, or act like you’re the main character, go play a videogame instead.

The worst kind of player is the kind who uses their characterization to be a dick to their groupmates. “But my character is just like that” well you made a bad character for this venue, do better by your team. Think about the other people at your table and whether you’re making it fun for everyone, not just yourself.
