--Condensed Biography--
Trigger Warnings: Car Wreck, Sibling Death
Margo was born in Lunar Cove to the Howard family, descended from Salem witches and owners of a well-known shipping business.
Her older brother, Finn, was already ten when she was born, making her a bit of a surprise. Finn was a magical prodigy, a star student and athlete, and an all around great guy. Margo looked up to him a lot
Margo was always sweet, but also pretty spacey. She's always been more concerned with the past and history than being in the present. Finn coddled her for that, often letting her read his history books. She was never pressured to attempt to find her magic before she was ready.
The first bit of magic that Margo was able to perform was manifesting her familiar. Finn decided to take her to celebrate, causing the two of them to get into a car wreck. This revealed Margo's second inherent ability: spirit raising. Though she thought she'd managed to heal her brother, she instead conjured up his ghost.
Things were still alright for Margo. She was still odd, she still talked to her brother every day, and she was still interested in history; now, she could just get it straight from the source. Her parents sent her to boarding school, hoping that getting out of the Cove would be allow her to move on. It was fine. She didn't make many friends, but that was okay, really.
Margo moved back to Lunar Cove for college, though she ended up taking two years off for mental health related reasons. She's currently in her senior year and running a podcast called "Mar Ghosts Stories to Tell in the Dark," focused on the strange past, but-- more recently-- the mysterious goings on of Lunar Cove. Coven Members: Margo is in the coven and has been since she was eighteen.
Animal Lovers: Margo is an avid animal lover, and she loves socializing Percy with other creatures. Even though Percival is technically an extension of her own magical being, she still likes to make sure he's comfortable within his own feathers and amongst all living creatures
Podcast Listeners: Margo's show is pretty well-known! At least, in the Cove. Some aspects of her show reach a wider audience, but those are more of the historical/haunted legends around other places. All the Cove talk stays local.
