On day 7 I visited Latrabjarg. It took quite some time to drive there as the roads were all gravel. But it was definitely worth it. The hike along the edge was absolutely breathtaking! Though at some points I was a little scared I might get caught in the wind and fly off the cliff😅 better watch your steps if you ever decide to visit the most western edge of Europe.

After a long day traveling all along the beautiful fjords of isafjardardjup, I had dinner in the most amazing sunset 🌅 This was the peak of the trip for me and as the night was so beautiful I ended up driving all night. Godafoss waterfall (waterfall of the Gods). Iceland is all about the hot springs. It was so relaxing to soak in the hot water (40 degrees Celsius!) surrounded by beautiful nature. The hot springs was also the best place to meet other fellow travellers. Day 5: I started the morning by visiting Dettifoss. The landscape surrounding this place was surreal making me think about science fiction films and feeling like I had ended up in another planet.
