thinking about how karen was the only member of the plastics to not make cady uncomfortable (at least on purpose) during their first meeting in the cafeteria. like regina seized control over the conversation and cady's self-esteem at the first opportunity and gretchen immediately attempted to appease regina while making her own mark with the usage of a slang term that she abandons in embarrassment the second regina expresses disapproval while karen asked her if she's ever met a tiger which she wouldn't ask if she didn't figure that there's tons of wilderness in kenya. and she asked that without any motive other than wanting to know cady! the walmart commercials say cady is the one who became a guidance counselor but karen is so perceptive and the only reason why people don't acknowledge that more is her tendency to focus on silly goofy trivial things
