Ferrari-Abarth 166 MM/53, 1953. The only Abarth reworking of a Ferrari was made for the driver Giulio Musitelli. Also known as the Smontabile Spider the bodywork was by Franco Scaglione. Musitelli had mixed success with the car, winning the 10-hour night in Messina race but failing the finish the XXI edition of the Mille Miglia which was its last race. The car was given new bodywork by Carrozzeria Scaglietti and exported to the US. In the 2000s the car was restored using the original Scaglione body, it sold at auction in 2007 for $850,0000
