Daredevil Acrobatic Stunt Motorcycle - ALPS - Japan
This tin lithographed friction powered motorcycle is unusual and comes with the original box with excellent graphics! The motorcycle driver is able to be moved so his chest is closer to the tank as he tucks into the bike for his stunt! There is a lever on the left side that you press when starting his engine and when released allows the flip-bar to rotate. Great colors and jointed arms make this a fantastic toy - very nice condition!

Black Dancer Automaton – Millikin & Lawley – England
This is an early dancing automaton with original box, image of lady. The two dancers have vintage dresses and when activated appear to dance on the top of the box with jointed ankles and swinging arms and legs! There is a tin Millikin & Lawley of London plate on the back - this is marked 168 which dates it to there location in 1872. Very nice condition, nice Americana piece of history.

Mechanical Wind-Up Black Bear - Ives - Germany
The Ives Bear Automaton was painted by R.J. Clay in the 1870's - the open-spring mechanism is housed a papier-mache body covered in real fur. His feet, hands, and face are all wood with glass eyes and a hinged jaw with jagged and menacing teeth! Has the original pine box bottom with sliding lid missing - and name of the "Mechanical Bear" and his image on the outside of the box as shown. When in operation his hind legs rise and forms a crouching position, he moves his legs and arms as his head tuns and mouth opens and closes showing off his teeth!
