Dave's ride in Bangkok was a party van. The vehicle was equipped with karaoke and sound system. A whole car was designed for partying. This was truly the best van ever. Only in Bangkok!

Bangkok has a lot to offer. It has museums, snake farms, fantastic food, splendid malls, diverse and pleasant people, and great places to party and drink. But let’s be honest! The best attractions in Bangkok are - RED LIGHTS DISTRICTS. In Bangkok there are no prejudice or taboo. Everything goes !!!

"Heavy metal in Thailand ?" Dave couldn't believe when he saw the rock bar cafe. Dave likes a lot if things but rock and roll and heavy metal have special place in his heart. He went to see a show at the bar one night to hear a local band Samara. He walked in into a dark looking and cozy hard rock bar with open mind and low expectations. Oh boy he was up for a surprise. The bar was fairly empty but that didn't stop Samara to give its best. Young band was playing for over two hours some of the greatest and hardest metal melodies from the eighties and seventies. The singer's powerful voice was hitting high notes like Dio. The guitarist was shredding and tapping the guitar like Eddie Van Halen. Bassist was pulling melodies worth of Cliff Burton and drummer was beating like john Boham. Dave was blown away! "Bangkok you really do know how to rock! You truly carry the flag with pride. "

Dave visiting wat Arun in Bangkok. Stupas are places where ashes of first Rama kings are placed. Thai people have really close relationship with their royal family. King is highly regarded as people’s representatives. Dave was a bit puzzled with the while concept of royalty. In his mind , royalty was associated with British queen who buy some chance happens to be his majesty too. Since British queen lives thousand of miles a way, Dave never felt any sympathy or closeness with royal family. In Thailand he got a glimpse of why some people love the royalties. However, Thai kings did live just next door to their fellow countrymen.

Bangkok has a large network of small canals spreading across the city. Canals are still used for transportation. Millions of people have their houses built part on the water and part on the ground.

While Dave was riding an elephant he felt big animal purring at some point. Other more experienced people explained that elephants communicate that way. By purring they send messages and with their feet they listen to messages. This is how Dave imagined what was happening. Dave’s elephant : “Guy and a girl are so fat that I’m alfraid they will eat all bananas when we come to the camp. Their yellow friend looks like a fruit. “ Other elephants: “hahahahahahahaha “
