Becoming Fullmetal: You know Basque Gran is someone we really only meet after he’s dead but I’d like to nominate this moment for one of the best minor character badass moments in the entire series. General Fessler has been sending men on suicide missions the entire war, they have a shot at peace, and ending the war, and Fessler is screaming about orders to keep up the bloodshed. 

So what does Colonel Gran do? 

“Brigadier General Fessler, haven’t you heard? They say that among the casualties on the battlefield, twenty percent of the officers are being killed by their subordinates.”

AND THEN HE JUST SHOOTS HIM WITH A RIFLE POINT BLANK. DEAD ON. 

“…It’s a stray bullet.” “A stray bullet it is.”
