Narcissa pressed her lips together but ignored the first comment, both because she was really trying to focus and to prove Marlene wrong. She might like attention - well, she did like attention, no questions about that. But she didn’t really care about what Marlene thought. Her expression turned suspicious at the questions, and she looked up for a moment. “Right now, Transfiguration. I’ve been having difficulty - but it’s not important. I’m meant to be letting you ignore me, after all.”
There was a bit of a smirk playing on Marlene’s features when it became obvious she had irked Narcissa a bit. Irritating people had always been one of her best skills and favorite pastimes. She looked at Narcissa from the corner of her eye. “What part of Transfiguration?” she questioned calmly, finally turning her head to completely face the girl, “You already distracted me. Might as well benefit from it now.”
