Is it just me or are in home libraries like the dreamiest thing? A little cozy room lined with shelves, full of books of all shape and color that you’ve collected over the years, with a big round window in an alcove where you can sit and sip some tea and thumb through your favorite novel and listen to the rain pattering against the glass. Thats the life
I can't seem to focus
🚨🚨PROJECT SAGIP: A FUNDRAISER FOR FARMERS 👨🏽🌾👩🏽🌾 AFFECTED BY TYPHOON GONI (TYPHOON ROLLY)🚨🚨
PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE!!!
Hello everyone! Please spare a minute or two to read through this post!
A SIMPLE REBLOG CAN HELP SO MUCH!!!
Last November 1, Super Typhoon Rolly—the world’s most powerful tropical cyclone since Haiyan—hit my country, the Philippines. It devastated many areas in the country, most especially Catanduanes and Albay. Over 2 MILLION Filipinos have been affected/displaced amid a pandemic.
FROM MANILA BULLETIN:
“A total of 372,653 families composed of 2,068,085 individuals were affected by Rolly in Ilocos (Region 1), Cagayan Valley (Region 2), Central Luzon (Region 3), Calabarzon (Region 4-A), Mimaropa (Region 4-B), Bicol, Western Visayas (Region 6), Central Visayas (Region 7), Eastern Visayas (Region 8), Zamboanga Peninsula (Region 9), National Capital Region (NCR), and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).”

During the on-going pandemic, the agricultural sector suffered greatly and this typhoon has only made conditions worse for the farmers of the Philippines.

[ROUGH] TRANSLATION:
In the aftermath of strong winds and rain brought about by typhoon Rolly (Goni), farmers are forced to salvage the crops they waited months on end for. P.S I took this photo earlier but they are still harvesting until now. P.P.S Farmers won’t get the proper profit for the rice they will sell.
I am knocking at your hearts and asking you to donate to PROJECT SAGIP, an initiative for the farmers affected by the super typhoon.
PROJECT SAGIP is an initiative led by For Our Farmers, a youth-led non-stock non-profit organization which “aims to help and uplift local farmers and fisherfolks.”

THANK YOU EVERYONE
Youtube..
So, okay. I started a Youtube Channel.
Username: Sojourn Sisu
It was the same as the username I am using in IG.
Hoooo! This is fun! So much fun.
I actually have only 25 subscribers at the moment. And I am happy I had 6 people that i don't know. 😅
And it has been a week now since I started uploading videos about snippets of my life.
A topic that no one will be interested into or you won't search since you don't know me.
And I am not popular.
But during this week, I realized that it was fun to take videos or clips of what is happening on my life in a daily basis. Just some kind of documentary. I am having so much fun doing it. I am not a filmmaker or anything related to videography and whatever I am doing was based on my own knowledge (I am not a fan of watching tutorials) so basically whatever is in my channel are based on how I see things or learned by myself or through experience.
I am a Civil Engineer and I am still thinking of a content related to my profession BUT I don't know why I like simple, calm and relaxing videos. I don't like to incorporate engineering but we'll see.
If you have free time, pls subscribe to my channel. I will be very very glad to have you there and see what more can I show you on the following days.

Random Share of thoughts..
So, some of my friends are not able to pass the board exam yet and I am thinking of ways to help them. They've been asking for my notes but unfortunately, I already passed it to a relative so maybe I'll be using some of my time during this quarantine to re-write some notes that might be helpful. Aja! I kmow I can do this! ❤
