Alexander Calder’s kitchen.
The Kitchen Area of the large, open living space is a visual feast of color, shape and function, casually juxtaposing utilitarian, edible and decorative8 components. Brightly colored utensils, baskets of every shape and size, and primitive and ethnic objects share space with fresh vegetables and fruit. Calder-designed rugs cover the wood floor, while the paraphernalia of artistic production crowds work tables.
