Since his inauguration, President Lovell has set a clear vision for Marquette. In addition to his leadership role on campus, Dr. Lovell is also an avid runner and athlete and makes frequent appearances at the Al McGuire Center for workouts and athletic events. The players and coaches have been spending their time giving back to the community before the season is in full swing. Everyone had a great time last weekend at Al's Run here on campus and this weekend the team will be helping out at Race for the Cure.

The Marquette University women's basketball team will open BIG EAST Conference action Tuesday, Dec. 30, against Xavier at the Al McGuire Center, as announced Thursday afternoon by the league office.
