Art blog for @regsgarden ! I’d mostly reblog stuff with the occasional ramblings- so I thought I’d have a dedicated art blog for organizing purposes!

Blog Information

Here you’ll receive art, wips and doodles- and the occasional animation for an upcoming video! I will mostly be drawing and writing about my fandoms! Particularly this project @thekinshipaus ( Toyhouse for the project!) Please check these out for more info! It is my EVERYTHING so it’s pretty much all you’ll see besides fandom stuff!!

Don’t worry about knowing all the fandoms!! The more properly story oriented stuff (amvs/pmvs / animatics) and the official stuff (the comics, character cards, etc) is set up in a way where you don’t need to know ANYTHING!

While the other stuff will probably be set up where you only need to know about one or two pieces of media! So really don’t sweat it!

I'm going to be completely honest here, and say that tmc will most likely be on another hiatus. Thorne will hopefully get put off the team, for the reasons that have come up (although why are we surprised ppl have literally come up aht this before in like 2023, but wtv) and due to him doing a LOT of the work in the series, i doubt that it will be continued anytime soon.

this will be the unfortunate case, but I rather a racist piece of shit get taken off the team and someone who is mature (bc thorne is a grown man doing that) will get put on the team as a replacement. This may not be the same, but it is the way things need to be done to hold people like this accountable.

I just really hope Thatcher doesn’t just get written out

I know Kister is kind of weird when it comes to casting and recasting

and if Thatcher (and Adam as I know Ty stepped away from normal reasons) just get completely written out that would GENUINELY fuck up the entire story

I’d rather Thatcher look and sound kinda different then just ruin the entire show

tbh- I couldn’t care less for Thorne

I never really cared for his independent work (never tried to see it) so I’m not really too bothered by this

I’m just worried about how Kister will handle it

I unfortunatelyyyyy don’t have much trust in creators as a WHOLE 😓

Some Jonah fur concepts I forgot to share

some of these probably seem WAYY more interesting then what I went with- but there’s a good few reasons why I didn’t go with them- that I’m HAPPY to explain!

In its current state- I am still not quite happy with his head tuft tbh- but it’s hard to find a middle ground between

reasonable line mileage. These characters are intended for comics and animation I need to be able to draw them a lot

I’m happy with his cheek fur! But I still feel like I could mess with it a bit to get the best result! Keeping the same general shapes but different proportions and spacing between the tufts. I haven’t gotten on to make a “model sheet” yet so I still have plenty of time to figure it out

(model sheet in quotes cause it won’t be NEARLY as set in stone or hard ass as like professional model sheets- I definitely CAN do that but ugh it would genuinely make me tear my skin and DIE- I LOVE sheets like that but they have SOO much pressure on you to get things RIGHT and to KEEP things like that)

Does anybody know how to get rid of these gaps between text in HTML coding? is it even a coding thing at all?? Or just a result of how it looks

I’m trying to set up a character profile on Toyhouse and no matter what I do there’s this weird gaps- and it’s driving me INSANE

messy squilf concept

Catified Adam Sketches

Practice sketches first that I did when trying to work a better drawing flow. Also I don’t usually draw cats in sleeves like at ALL I think it looks weird and uncomfortable for the character- in a way that just blocks to many markings- and that’s kind of EXACTLY why we (me and my twin) chose to put him in a sweater

These (below) are from a comic practice that I did! I keep forgetting to color these comic practices… I do everything and then just BAM motivation DIES at coloring HELP

Hollyleaf Ref sheet! (AU)

(they also GREATLY helped by writing the notes- so thank you!!) A temporary reference sheet I made for Hollyleaf for artfight! here’s her profile though it is kinda a wip! Still need to write her relationship stuff!

You may notice her name is listed as Holly Weaver! That’s an alias she uses! Weaver is a last name not a suffix btw! It derives from her found family mother- Ruth Weaver (character from another fandom but you really don’t need to know anything about her for this!)

General Character introduction for Holly in this AU for some context! And overall story description! I have NO idea why I didn’t share these when I shared the other protagonist earlier but whatever 🤷 ⬇️⬇️

Hollyleaf abandoned her old life behind following a series of events of which "everything fell apart". She's since curated a new one- and won't let anyone or anything tear this one apart like last time.

but here are some concepts I did for Adam quite a bit ago! Not finalized but I think he mostly needs his small adjustments before he’s ready for his references to be made! At least for his base design - he needs some concepts for his dumb sweater and then I’ll probably make some stuff for him after Catalyst

probably after I make some other concepts- these are made for a comic/novel project so I need to do some AU type concepts as well

What are the Kinship AUs?

The Kinship AUs are a group of stories set in the same world. Using the same lore, world building, and characters (even if the casts don’t necessarily interact with each other in the stories itself. ) Put simply- it refers to the world the majority of our stories take place. There are a particular set of “base stories”, that happen concurrently- unless it’s exploring the history of the world or character backstory (listed as a “prequel story”). 

Additionally- there is a list of “divergent stories” which reference the base AUs as a starting off point. These do not happen concurrently. Think of them like AUs of AUs!  All of these stories can be read independently from each other without the need of any further knowledge. But the experience is better if you follow along for the whole ride! 

‼️please treat it how you would any other work of fiction- with curiosity and the willingness to learn. If you're confused at any point while reading these stories, please be patient, chances are things WILL be explained- just like (again) any other story. If confusion still remains feel free to ask questions here‼️

Epic the musical Catified AU: Hermes concepts

Decided I would post some of my recent catified Hermes art as I am very Hermes pilled rn please keep in mind that these are still concepts! His design is always up to change!

The last two are actually really old 😭 anyways I’m still figuring out his accessories which is why he isn’t wearing anything in the first one (and the most recent one)

Hermes plays a major role in at least two of the main stories within it! He does have a specific disguised mortal form! To which I will post bellow cut
